“We stayed two days at the beginning of August before my youngest goes to college. The property is very conveniently located almost halfway between Hillsboro and Lake Whitney. The entire property is gorgeous. Exactly as described and pictured. Extremely comfortable for 4 adults. Clean and obviously well taken care of. Its a very quiet and secluded location. Amenities are fantastic. We emjoyed the pool and cooking out. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the red cedar cabin! The cabin was clean and furnished with everything we needed for a family of 5 on vacation. The owners were SO kind and helpful to us. They fulfilled every request we had, gave us excellent recommendations for the area and were a delight to visit with as well. Our kids made good use of the pool and we all enjoyed watching and petting the horses and friendly dogs on the property. The wrap around porch was a favorite sitting spot to enjoy the peace……

"The hotel is generally quite good. The main advantage is its great location, which is very convenient. The check-in waiting time was a bit long. I had booked a room and breakfast online, and it took a long time for the entrance staff to verify my reservation before guiding me to my seat at breakfast, which was quite embarrassing. The Black security guard at the hotel entrance was very kind and helpful, assisting me in finding an Uber that had gone to the wrong location."
