“Comfortable cosy stay in lovely, clean cottage which is dog friendly.
Situated minutes from shops meaning you can easily get your essentials or grab a drink in a lovely pub.
Nice location and suitable base to drive to other parts of the region.
The cottage was clean and presented as described. WiFi was excellent throughout ( I know that’s required for some, but not us)
Has a small back garden, which is gated and perfect for dogs to stretch their legs.”

“From the moment I arrived, the scenery was beautiful. The lake with various different birds, the trees, forest etc.
I loved the cabin, just perfect along with the outdoor fire pit/bbq where you buy logs through an app.
I will definately be visiting again. Loved it 😊😊😊😊😊”

“Becca and Tony made us feel very welcome, both before arrival and during our stay. The lodge was very comfortable and well equipped. Some of the automatic, sensor lights seemed to take a bit of working out with some switches not in an obvious place.Tip: Take or buy a rubber mat for the shower rooms, especially if mobility is an issue.Very quiet and dark at night.”

“The apartment was comfortable, clean, tidy and convenient for access to the racecourse or for access to York by car. It’s about a half hour walk to the city centre. There's a local bakery and convenience store nearby and we found on street parking for one car.
In the first floor apartment, There’s a small kitchen with a full cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge and washer dryer. The dining table only seats four so you may need to also sit on a bed. The beds are comfortable with bedding and towels……
