Extremely well located for visiting Ely - a ten minute walk to the city centre/cathedral. Lovely quiet location. Cozy, very clean rooms. Fantastic food - breakfast and evening meal. Robert is a delightful host. A wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend.0

Fawlty towers but beds were comfortable and great selection at breakfast. 2nd Sunday of the month we caught live music sessions in the garden , which was lovely. I liked the quirkiness.

Only one member of staff who was pleasant. More of a DIY place. Once grand but terribly run down. We had attic room and stairs very steep. Most odd room with ancient furniture and fittings. Linen and bathroom clean and hot water fine, but not a room I’d recommend!! Breakfast good but wouldn’t return

We booked the Nyton because we wanted to be near the centre of Ely but not near the main streets. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the centre and in a quiet road. There is a large garden bordered by trees and very pleasant to sit out in. Our room was well equipped, beds were comfortable, and the refreshment tray was well supplied. The room was cleaned daily and the beverages etc replenished. The owner was very helpful and the staff likewise. breakfast was in the very pleasant dining room and the cooked offering was both appetising and served hot. The whole breakfast selection was very good. We ate in the restaurant the fist evening and were very pleased with the menu and food. We were glad we booked the hotel.
