“Madie’s place is a nice, chill place to stay. We had the whole place to ourselves because of having 8 people. It is an older place with all the rooms but one on the third floor and all bathrooms on the first so keep that in mind when booking because it’s not convenient and might be an issue for older people and young children. Besides that the only other negative is the condition and size of the bathrooms, very small besides one of them and old and dirty looking. The host was amazing her name……

“Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. No natural ventilation. Smelt methane in the bathroom. At a time no hot water. No hot water to the sink. The sink not attached to the wall. No electrical wall outlets. The bathroom requires total renovation. The sheets were I would rate as second hand. In the time I spent there the room was never cleaned. I had to take the towels to be replaced. No lift to the third floor. The emergency exit had a padlock on it. And smokers used the exit , just to smoke there. I……

“Whenever I travel to Manila for business, this hotel has always been my first choice. However, my most recent stay was quite disappointing.
While I can accept that the facilities are getting old, the air conditioner was leaking water throughout the room during my stay. The floor became slippery, and I almost fell because of it.
I have stayed here many times in the past and have always had a good experience, which makes this situation even more disappointing. Unfortunately, for my next business……
