“If you’re looking for a truly secluded escape, Jungle Beach delivers. Far from the more developed parts of or Uppavelli, it’s wonderfully private — just you, the jungle, and one of the most pristine beaches I’ve ever set foot on. The sand is very soft, the sunsets paint the sky in gorgeous paddle pop colours, and the early morning walks are magical and peaceful. “Sunaqua is located at the wrong end of Pasikudah beach. The beach in front of the hotel is too shallow and rocky for swimming. you can walk to the public beach to swimming however the public beach is busy during weekend. Other than that, the hotel itself is pretty good. It even provides ladies sanitary items which comes very handy and this shows hotel's attention to detail. ”

“The staff were absolutely amazing and accommodating. My dad has Dementia and the staff made sure both he and my mum were well looked after and attended to. The beach and pool were both clean and not crowded. The food was good - particularly the local Sri Lankan dishes. And the drinks were good.”
