「Our family of 4 stayed 3 nights in Auberge Les Roches. We arrived by rental car around sunset and were pleased to have a complimentary tajin dinner that night. The breakfast was good, and we made tons of use of the pool, which was a hit with our kids. Amazing dunes are just a short walk away. We were in the area for fossil hunting. 「Camels, and 4X4’s, luxury and serenity. The camp had it all. It was the perfect experience and one I truly hope to experience again. We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff. 「A beautiful unique place right at the sand dunes. The description "connected with a shopping center" is wrong, there is no shopping center. It is connected with a well-equipped camping site. The last stretch of the access road goes across sand, unpaved. Camel rides are right next door. 「It’s close to erg chebbi so you can see sunset there. We got a free room upgrade which is spacious and with good hot shower. Good to have free pickup to hotel from bus station tour prices quoted by the hotel is expensive. In the end we booked something outside and hotel personnel was apparently upset by this and didn’t provide us with free drop off from hotel to bus station.」
