“Limehome Bamberg Keßlerstraße is set in a beautifully restored property, and the room itself is very spacious by European standards. The décor is understated but attractive, and the overall atmosphere is pleasant. Unfortunately, the experience feels almost entirely impersonal. There is no one around to assist you, while you receive numerous notifications at different times instructing you to handle virtually everything digitally. Ironically, the first person we actually saw appeared shortly……

“Would give negative stars if it was possible. Rented an apartment room with a kitchenette as we were staying for a few weeks. Checked in only to find old food with mold in the cabinets. Must have been rotting for months. I brought this up to the hotel. They apologized and provided us with a different room. Fine! The next day, my mother-in-law checked. She received the same room with the same moldy food in the cabinets. They did not even attempt to clean. Needless to say, we were not……

“The room was very noisy at the night. It faced the street and through the night we had car lights flashing in, sirens and horns and cars zipping by.”

“Eine tolle, saubere und sehr moderne Unterkunft. Schade, dass wir bei Expedia den Hund mit angegeben haben (wegen kleinem Aufpreis), wir aber nochmal eine separate Mail vor Ort schreiben mussten, da man ansonsten „Strafe“ zahlen müsste laut Hinweis an im Zimmer. Wieso wird nicht in das Expedia-Postfach geschaut - da hatten wir es bereits geschrieben und erwartet, dass das berücksichtigt wird… Das wäre die einzige Optimierung aus unserer Sicht.”
