"The area around this house is part old commercial and part empty and dilapidated. I was traveling alone and felt I was in an unsafe area. The house was secure with good locks though. The first night the occupied house next door had a consistent banging on the door at 3 am and woke me up. The next 2 nights were without incident. Overall I liked the place for its cleanliness and updated bath and kitchen. Having streaming TV’s was very nice. I would stay here again if back in town. "

"The Stoyke House was perfect in every way. The home was clean, comfortable, well appointed, and in a great location! We were a party of six in the area to bike the Mesabi trail and the home couldn’t have been a better choice for us to relax and get ready for the next day’s adventure. There was lots of information and pamphlets so we knew what to see and do and where to go to eat. All of our needs were fulfilled. The house also has an excellent book shelf with lots to read in case of a rainy day!...
