PawPaw's Pool House

The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. With over 5500 sq feet of indoor living space, a full spa, sauna, and private pool, Paw Paw's Poolhouse is a much-needed oasis in the northern state only a 10 minutes from DT FBX.

Enjoy cooking dinner outside on the two grills provided; serve it on our outdoor dining set meant for 12. Hang out inside and start on a board game on your couch. Enjoy the history of Alaska on the interior with locally sourced art and mixed media.

You'll find plenty of room to relax in this spacious, tastefully remodeled home.

Heading upstairs from the entryway you're greeted with a massive open living room and dining room with large panoramic windows. Connecting to the large open kitchen, it's a great hangout spot for everyone to congregate.

Two bedrooms adorn the upstairs, the master containing a king and a full bed, with its own en-suite bathroom. A second bedroom also boasts a full bed, with another full bathroom on this floor.

Downstairs you'll find 2 more bedrooms; one with a king and a full en-suite bathroom, the other with a bunk bed. Laundry is also available on this floor, as well as a spacious game room with comfortable seating and a bar area.

You'll also find the entry to the pool room downstairs with a full size swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, and another full bathroom.

Exiting from this level leads to a lower covered patio area as well as a firepit in the yard. Upstairs there's another deck off of the master bedroom perfect for sunbathing in the summer and sky views during the darker months to catch a glimpse of the northern lights.

Typically the house you rent on a vacation doesn't make much of a difference for your experience. This home, without a doubt, was the BEST part of my vacation. Even better than seeing the Northern Lights (twice!). It exceeded my expectations in every way. I had a group of 10 guests. The beds were comfortable, clean, and Mavrik helped us by bringing in a pull-out bed so that we could sleep comfortably. He was incredibly communicative.The layout of the living area (and that EPIC couch) is unmatched. We watched movies, we had deep conversations, we sang Karaoke (shoutout to whoever left their Youtube account logged in on the TV!) The house was simply built for community.AND THE POOL! We hot tubbed, we sauna'ed, we played in the pool, and had so much fun between our adventures in the snow.The kitchen is gorgeous and clean. The cookware is brand-new and built for hosting. Every morning, we'd just sip our coffee from the fully-stocked Keurig bar and enjoy the 360 degree views of the peaceful, snowy atmosphere. The windows make you feel like you're in a snowglobe!I will be bringing my family back next year just because I've never experienced something so special. In terms of location and practicality -- the house is about 10 minutes from town, so very convenient to stock up on food. The roads were maintained well and we never got stuck in the snow. The house is also relatively isolated from neighbors, so it felt like we had all of Fairbanks to ourselves.

We had such a fantastic stay at Mavrik’s beautiful vrbo! From the moment we booked, Mavrik was extremely responsive and helpful, which made the whole process easy and stress-free. The house itself is spacious and well-equipped, with a beautiful kitchen stocked with all the utensils you need for cooking. The game room, swimming pool, and hot tub were highlights—our kids had an amazing time, and so did we! The location is very convenient, just about 15 minutes from downtown, and the views are absolutely stunning. Whenever we needed something, Mavrik responded right away and was incredibly accommodating. His attentiveness truly made our stay even more enjoyable. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, fun, and memorable getaway.
