「Great place to stay about 20 minutes out of Blenheim. Lots of space and 2 bathrooms. Everything you need in the kitchen. Comfy beds and great shower. Close to some of the vineyards and to Renwick 」

「This Blenheim accommodation is new and served our needs perfectly. It was easy to find and convenient located if travelling by car The bed was huge and very comfortable. Our host was gracious and available. We felt at home and enjoyed quiet privacy. Only regret was that we had to continue on our journey.」

「We absolutely loved our stay. An authentic Marlborough Sounds bach with plenty of thoughtful touches. Stunning views and plenty of things to do in the area, though just staying at the bach was the best thing to do. Thank you Penny!」

「Had a lovely two night stay. Kids loved the toy selection and playing outside. Adults loved the big comfy bed and beautiful surroundings. Thank you!」

「Set in a very quiet back part of garden the unit was very comfortable and clean. The hosts were lovely and friendly and the unit had good kitchen capability with, kettle, toaster, microwave and full oven. Large fridge freezer and basic tea/coffee provisions.Perfect size for a couple and great we could have our dogs with us as great little off lead dog park 2min walk away. Would definitely stay again. 」

「We loved staying here. We were 2 couples. We loved that each bedroom had ots owm ensuite. The home was rxtremely clean and had a very well stocked kitchen (dishes, pots and pans, serving bowls, utensils) for preparing meals. We used the kayaks and loved it. Check in and check out wad a breeze. We would definitely stay here again! Fabulous and close to many great vineyards! Thank you hosts! 」

「A great place to stay for a couple... and, in our case, two small dogs. Everything you need, although no freezer or laundry facility. The fridge is a wine fridge but it's huge and was plenty big enough for our needs. Tons of room, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed, wifi, large tv. Easy access to Havelock and Queen Charlotte Sound, Blenheim, Picton, and Rapara Beach (no good for swimming but awesome ruggedness), plus heaps of wineries to explore.」

「We loved our stay. Lovely grounds and close to many wineries. We rented bikes from Mandy and, on the bike path and small roads near the Homestay, visited four local vineyards for tasting and lunch. Just a caution, these generally need to be prebooked. A wonderful stay overall」

「A lovely spacious home comfortable and warm. No cupboard storage for our own food was a slight problem. Handy to walks and the Picton shops. I would recommend this accommodation for any large family gathering. Unusual that there was no aerial for normal TV reception. A great selection of DVD's that were watched instead.」

Convenient location but services could be improved

"The motel is located in a tranquil area, conveniently near the city centre. The room is clean and spacious. However, I wish the hotel manager were more welcoming and less calculative when guests ask for small extras, like 20ml of shampoo or one extra toilet roll. Additionally, the portable kitchen stove is not very effective."
