Beautiful mountain getaway close to Breck

We had a wonderful relaxing time at the property. The listing was accurate and we enjoyed the solitude and beautiful scenery. The short distance to Breckenridge was a plus and we were happy for the easy access yet feeling like we were away from it all. We would love to return!

Weekend Getaway

This cabin was everything my partner and I had hoped for! The location was secluded, calming and had the most amazing views. The home was very clean and between the hot tub, comfy bed, and deck we truly could not have asked for anything better during our quiet weekend tucked away in the mountains.

Absolutely Perfect!!

You cannot ask for a better home to stay in! The house has everything you need and then some. The living room is perfect for movies with the family and the kitchen great for those who love to cook. Best of all are the amazing views from pretty much every room in the house. We enjoyed playing games while watching the snow fall and hot chocolate by the fire pit. The location is perfect for those who don't want to be in a tourist town, but have them a short drive away.

Winter Wonderland

This property is EXACTLY as the pictures and description state. It is in a very secluded area and the drive way is slightly steep, we have a all wheel drive suburban and I was still scared driving on the icey driveway. But other than that the house is amazing. There was a lot of beautiful wildlife that we were able to take pictures of and the views 😍. I definitely will stay again. !

Secluded Mountain Getaway

Communication with the property staff was outstanding from Day 1. Anytime, we had any sort of special requests or issues arise, they’d respond within 5 minutes or less. We experienced a situation where the locked breaker box needed to be reset due to the the storm from the previous night & they had a. individual onsite to fix it within an hour. Cabin was extremely clean, spacious & secluded. Please note you will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to reach the top of the driveway. Would leave 6/5 stars if I could!

Hilltop retreat

The location was perfect. The views were great. Spacious house with all the needed amenities. Quick to respond. The driveway is as others posted, difficult. We had about a 6-8” snowstorm the day before we left and we’re really concerned with how we’d get down safely. With snow chains though and driving in 1 low we had minimal sliding. The kids sled down the driveway which was great. Sledding right out the front door. Great house and location. We took the kids on a hike through the woods after it snowed and came across 3 deer within 40’ and a tiny field mouse. The hot tub was also a great feature while it was snowing.

The house is as looks in the pictures. The views are nothing short of amazing. Pros: plenty of space Views Hot tub House is clean Beds are comfy The downstairs suite is a bonus Cons: jacuzzi tub jets were not working Minimal pans for cooking Hair dryer didn't work Clothes dryer took forever and barely dried Overall the home is great The Driveway: great for sledding. Horrible for an actual driveway. If it wasn't covered in ice, it was a mud slide. The altitude of this house is definitely something to consider if you are coming from flat land lol. Kids never adjusted and ended up leaving a day early. With every remedy in hand nothing worked and we did get snowed in (driveway was never plowed) so we couldn't get them down to lower elevation. The drive over to Breckinridge isn't bad as long as the weather is decent since you have to cross the Summit pass Cute little grocery store in Alma for necessities

Home away from home

This property was amazing. Perfect for our family, everyone had there own private area to go too. There was plenty of room, location was excellent. Not too far from Breckenridge, maybe about 45 minutes. I will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

We loved staying here. The house was big enough for 8 of us with lots of extra room. Hot tub was a big hit. The driveway is gravel and does go up..Definitely recommend a AWD or 4 wheel drive. Loved the view and the porch )))

This cabin was gorgeous inside and out. The views were excellent and the property was private and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub and lots of stargazing. The cabin is well maintained and clean. Second Home Vacation Rentals made the entire process so easy and provided us all the information we would need. If you need a peaceful mountain getaway this cabin is for you!

Great view, great house

We had a fantastic time at Blue Sky Ridge, even though we were snowed in for the first four days of our trip. Even that was taken care of -- hot tub, solid internet, sleds for sledding. Any issues or concerns were taken care of promptly, and we had plenty of space for our party of 7.

We rented the house to celebrate a couple of birthdays. It was perfect for our group! Everyone loved the house and thought it was beautiful. It was so comfortable and let us all have our own space but still spend quality time together. We all enjoyed the hot tub, playing games and enjoying the views. We even had deer show up several times! Highly recommend!

What a view!

Great home, lots of space, clean and well kept, gourmet kitchen, comfortable beds, and awesome views. Wake up to the sunrise coming up over the valley of South Park County. Look the other direction for Mt Sherman (a CO 14ner), and other snow-capped mountains in the distance. This quiet and secluded home is a must-see! We will be back!

Fully Secluded Family Vacation

The house was perfect, just as pictured! The quiet, the nature surrounding, the unbeatable Mountain View’s! The drive way up wasn’t bad, it’s summer time. The elevation was no joke though if you’re a low lander plan to grab some oxygen cans or day trips to lower elevations. The two flights of stairs are a lot at this height. The grocery is 8 minutes away and has everything you’ll need! The grill wouldn’t start due to tons of build up so check that first if that’s part of your plan during your stay. Great experience!

Great house with a few issues

The breaker blew twice during our stay so the oven and fridge weren't working. The breaker panel was in a section of the house we were unable to get into. The second time they did end up giving us the code to get in and reset it ourselves. They were pretty responsive with all that though and didn't take too long to get back to us, just kinda a pain. Also the bedroom on the main floor had a section of wet carpet. Didn't seem to be from the window as it was in the corner, made the room have a weird smell. The master bath shower was leaking into the bathroom on the main floor, so was unable to use that the first couple days. Overall a very pretty house, enjoyed the hot tub. Be prepared for the stairs.
