This cabin is just 15-minutes from downtown Fairplay but you feel fully immersed in the pines and the mountain views are spectacular. Lots of great hiking and walks nearby. Perfect place to rest and refresh.

I enjoyed staying at Whimsical Hollow. Easy to find, close to the mountains, very clean.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Nice and secluded which was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was very well equipped and lacked for nothing. The host of this property was very attentive and stayed in touch when power went out for a short time which I appreciated very much. Overall, I would highly recommend this cabin.

We were absolutely amazed at the surroundings and quiet! The home had everything we needed or could want! Communications with the host Angela was great! We enjoyed the wonderful fireplace every day and sitting at the kitchen table enjoying our meals or coffee on the porch! We would absolutely recommend this home and hope to stay again in the future!

Cabin was perfect. We had a great experience with our trip. The view was fantastic and the weather was perfect. The cabin and the grounds were all in perfect shape, they were absolutely beautiful. We had a great time staying in the cabin which was very clean, cozy and had everything needed for the comfortable stay. Loved this property. We saw more chipmunks and squirrels than people while staying here. Our only complaint is the road getting there was terrifying. Miles of washboard dirt roads were sketchy, even in our 4 wheel drive truck. Guess that’s part of mountain living.
