Other things to note
4WD REQUIRED (October–May)
Winter weather can be unpredictable. Roads are plowed frequently, but snowpack and ice are common. Refunds are not provided for weather-related access issues — consider trip insurance.

Cabin Walkway
During winter months, we require parking at the upper level of the driveway and use the walkway down to the cabin. Guests must be able to walk ~30ft at a decline to the cabin.

Summer Notes
Mountain homes in Fairplay do not have central A/C. With cool nightly temps (45–55°), simply opening windows and using fans keeps the cabin comfortable.

Altitude
The cabin sits around 11,000 ft. Please ensure this elevation is comfortable for your group.

Weather + Cancellations
We cannot guarantee road or weather conditions. Please purchase travel insurance if weather uncertainty is a concern.

No Smoking Indoors
Smoking is allowed outside in designated areas.

Security
Ring camera at driveway + side yard (outdoor only).
