"The staff at the Liberty Boutique was outstanding. They helped in so many ways with miscellaneous arrangements, taxis, extra items for the room, etc. The room was nice and clean and well maintained and the breakfast was outstanding and well worth the price: great coffee, lovely buffet, and cooked-to-order hot food, again with lovely staff. The only thing future guests should be aware of is its location. While just 4 blocks from the train station and an easy walk to the Metro, it is a bit away from the historic center of Rome (e.g.,15-20 min cab ride to the coliseum). The Metro was great and easy to use so not a huge problem (except when there are delays)."

We only inteded ours for sleep. 20-30 minute walks to basically every tourist attraction+great resturants and a 10 minute walk to the train station allowing you to move about anywhere in the city or country without having to spend money on taxis. Staff very friendly and helpful. Laundry very expensive so plan accordingly. Also the tourist tax is 6 euro per person per day (cash only) so make sure you account for that in your budget."
