We. Loved our stay at this charming Bed and Breakfast. Super friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location to explore from. You can walk everywhere from here incl. the market. Breakfast was made with love and we appreciated all the different options incl. Vegan (we did not order Vegan but love that it was offered). The other thing that we really appreciated is the focus on sustainability and the community outreach. This little business is a gem with a heart. We can’t recommend this highly enough. Thank you for a great stay!

A great place to stay

Sunlight House is a gem of a find. an easy walk to the old town and main town centre with some great recommendations on their website. Our room was very quiet, clean and comfortable and we will certainly return next time we visit Faro.

The room was small but clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and they will let you choose the prefer meal to be prepared in the morning. Good location near Stock Exchange.

Very clean and convenient B&B for visiting old Faro. Walking distance to areas of interest and restaurants. Free parking within 2 minutes. Sorry we were only staying for 1 night and had to depart before breakfast!

Great Location

Great location and very comfortable stay. Rooms are compact but comfortable. Has a living room/roof top patio that you can hang out in/on. Staff are super friendly and helpful with advice about places to see/eat. Leonardo at the front desk is wonderful

It may be a common thing in hostels, but there was so much noise at night with guests coming home very late, very excited, shouting in the hallway... somehow there should be better insulation of the doors, and the common walls. Apart from that, all was very nice, rooftop terrace beautiful, breakfast amazing, staff very kind (reception and breakfast)!

Awesome stay! The rooms are small, but comfortable. The staff at breakfast were always friendly, a little tip if you like sauce … bring your own! The breakfast is delicious but there’s no hot sauce or ketchup. Would love to go back!

Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms are quaint a little tight (but that is to be expected of a European hotel). Our only complaint is that the walls were a little thin so we could easily hear guests coming and going. However for the most part people were pretty quite.

Convenient and friendly

Sunlight House was compact but clean and comfortable. Good for short stays. The breakfast on the terrace was excellent, and the service was friendly. Very convenient location. Parking was limited during our stay due to the town festival. Would suggest checking in advance if you will need parking.

This was a great place to stay for 1 night before heading back home from the Faro airport. The room and bathroom were both small but it was clean and comfortable. Our room had its own small terrace and there was a very nice rooftop terrace to enjoy the sunset. We left early so did not have breakfast but the breakfast room was very nice. This is well located at the old town and everything was within walking distance. There is free parking near the accommodation that was very busy but we found one of the few available spots. The Faro airport is about 15 minutes away. I would recommend Sunlight House.

Highly recommended for an overnight stop

We had a single night in Sunlight House between landing at the airport and travelling onwards from Faro station. Sunlight House is in the perfect place to explore the old town on foot and be able to walk to the station. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved being given a map and recommendations, and eating breakfast on the roof terrace. It was so helpful that they were able to look after our luggage. The room was basic, but that's what we paid for.

Disappointing for the price

We enjoyed our stay and the staff were lovely The room was the most expensive on our 2 week trip and the smallest and a bit claustrophobic as a view onto at white wall which was disappointing. Ok for one night. Breakfast area in the roof was lovely but no real choice for breakfast It was ok but not as good as other places we stayed. Thank you for the welcome and stay in a nice area. Some things to consider to improve though. The staff were very nice though Thanks
