"Inside smelled like a musty basement. Ceiling tiles stained, carpet stained. Bathroom appeared in need of repairs, looked dirt but stained. Elevator not in service so carried 4 bags up to the 2nd floor. Our AC went out in the middle of the night, 12am, we woke up sweat soaked. I went to the front desk, I was told sorry, no open rooms, no offer to try to come look at it to fix, I had to ask if they had any fans, they did not. When I became upset and asked about receiving a refund on our room as we had barely slept due to the excessive heat in our room, I was told they could only issue a refund if we checked out and left right then (midnight) and then filed a complaint with Expedia. Both of my girls had to be up at 530am to prepare for a softball tournament, neither of them got any sleep due to the temperature inside our room. I overlooked the smell and stains at first, the main thing was I didn't find any evidence of bugs, however, no working elevators and no AC in 80 degree heat is unacceptable. I would sleep in my car before I ever stay at this hotel again."
