「This was a beautiful lakefront oasis! We enjoyed the lake access, the lovely outdoor areas and the beautifully decorated accommodations. The home is a guest house next to the owner's residence. The owner and Jessie were both incredibly responsive and accommodating! We hope to visit again soon. 」

「My hubby and I traveled from Chicago for a brief getaway. A little over two hours away from our home in Bronzeville, the cottage was easy to get to and we immediately felt “away.” From the cottage’s porch, we could see Lake Michigan. There is a beach a very short walk away. Check in was easy and the kitchen is well-equipped! There is air conditioning, but we opted to keep the windows open overnight to enjoy the cooling breezes and the cacophony of tree frogs and other night time creatures. Just...

「We really enjoyed our stay! It was conveniently located to downtown Saugatuck and had several restaurants within walking distance. The bike/walking path right across the street was an added plus. We enjoyed several beaches that were close by. John thinks about everything which makes your stay wonderful! Don’t look any further!!」

「Marc is an A-1 host with a 5-star cottage! We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay there. Marc went above and beyond our expectations with too many special touches to list. We hope to come back to the area and stay and would definitely choose this property again! We highly recommend this place for anyone coming to the South Haven area. 」

「Really love the no tv and internet access. We were Able to put the electronics down and just hang out with one another. Sure it’s a little walk to the beach but it worth it. Sunsets are outstanding. Really enjoyed our stay and the kids loved the treehouse and all the games. Thanks for keeping the cottage feel rather than the modern monstrosities that seem to be taking over」

「We had a fantastic stay! The home was incredibly unique, with beautiful artwork and thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the beach supplies were a huge bonus. It was also a great place for our dog — super comfortable and welcoming for pets. Great location and close to many beaches in the area (our favorite was Pier Cove). You can tell the host really cares about creating a great experience. We’d definitely stay here again!」

「We just loved our time at Anna’s Cottage. It was spacious, warm and welcoming. The windows (and views!) are gorgeous and we loved the photo of the same porch we sat on from the early 1900s. Located across the street from the Chain Ferry and within walking distance to Mt. Baldhead and Oval Beach, the location is perfect. Highly recommend!」

「We had a great time at this beach house. The beach is right by the house, but there are a decent amount of stairs to get down there. The beach was really nice and quiet. The views of the lake were spectacular, especially at sunset. The house overall was really good, just a bit outdated. We also lkved the location and close proximity to Saugatuck. We would definitely stay again.」

My only negative feedback is the couch is a little dated and uncomfortable but everything else was amazing! Super easy access to the beach with all the necessary beach equipment provided. Loved that we had access to laundry and that our dog could stay with us as well. We were permitted to use the main house’s front porch which was nice since no one was in...

「We had a great stay in Saugatuck this past week! It was the perfect location! We walked downtown daily and were a short drive to Oval Beach and Douglas. We are a family of 5 plus our dog. We brought our own pack n play and kept the baby with us in the master bedroom. The 2 bedroom and 2 bath was perfect for our family. The screened in porch was lovely for some more indoor space. 」
