To quote our 8-year old granddaughter, “This the best beach house ever!”. Don and Felice have obviously put their hearts into ensuring their guests enjoy comfort, convenience, and so many thoughtful extras during precious - for many of us, once a year - down time with family. Comfy seating and beds, perfectly outfitted kitchen, great outdoor space, and top notch communication made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The best of the best!

As always, Don’s place was a cut above the rest. The attention to detail was apparent throughout the house and we could not have been more comfortable. We can’t wait for beach week next year!

Wonderful Property and Location

This property is lovely. The home is fully updated and extremely clean. The kitchen has everything you need and the amenities go above and beyond. Bikes, kayak, beach chairs, ping pong table, etc. A short walk to the beach, bike path, walking path, stores, and restaurants. Couldn’t ask for more!

Amazing

This home was perfect for my boyfriend & I and the 7 teens we took. It was beautiful, and spacious & comfortable. They thought of everything! The bikes & beach chairs & wagon were a big plus! Close to everything. It was an amazing week. So grateful we could do it.

Great host and location!

Don's place was everything stated! The back deck on the canal was nice for the kids to try crabbing and the bikes were really nice for them to ride around the quiet neighborhood. We used the park pass to go to the beach each day and do some surf fishing. Nice seafood places within easy walking distance. We didn't use the canoe or kayak but saw how simple and easy it would be to explore the bay with them right out the back door. Don was very responsive, accomodating and helpful. Thanks!

Excellent

The property and area is beautiful and convenient. The house was clean and kitchen equipped with almost everything you need to make a meal. The children enjoyed fishing off the deck and crabbing. They also enjoyed the ping pong table, foose table, and riding bikes. The beach is two blocks away and wonderful outdoor shower to wash away sand. I would stay here again and recommend this vacation house to others. The only thing to improve would be to replace the two queen mattresses upstairs. A fantastic location.

Wonderful week

Home was beautiful and had everything you need in kitchen. The location was great, close to beach and able to walk to sites. Kids loved the outside patio and being able to fish and catch crabs for fun. Host was very attentive and made sure if we needed anything, he was available. Would definitely recommend this home to everyone!

Unfortunately, we were unable to go. The owner, Don Goodwin has graciously given us a credit to use our reservation sometime next year. We were very disappointed but Don has been so kind and easy to work with. Looking forward to staying at Don's home in Fenwick Island next year.

Fantastic property for a great beach week!

We had a great stay at Don and Felice's beach home. Pre-stay communication was prompt and informative. The home is well appointed, beautifully decorated and very clean. Location is in a quiet neighborhood, just a quick walk to the beach and a good variety of shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back next summer!

Best Fenwick Stay in 13 years!!!!

The Don and Felice welcoming started shortly after our booking. The personal welcome call they made provided an opportunity for any newcomer to Fenwick to learn about Fenwick and ask any questions to help make your upcoming stay pleasure about. They were very accommodating to our needs and hopefully will have the opportunity to stay in their home again!!

Beach getaway

The location is great for popping over to the beach and is convenient to many restaurants and shops. The house was well-appointed and is set up with plenty of room to spread out which is perfect if the weather is lousy or if you have a large group. We cooked many meals and found all of the items we needed were on hand. Overall, the owners have thought of everything to make the stay as enjoyable as possible, and as others have noted, are extremely welcoming and available to answer any questions that arise. An enjoyable week at a beautiful home.

4 generations together in Fenwick

We had a wonderful stay at Don and Felice’s home. It is in a great location on a canal with a short walk to the beach. Upon arrival the house was spotlessly clean. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook and enjoy large family meals. The garage/game room was a favorite hangout for the adult children. Evenings sitting out by the canal are so restful after a fun day on the beach. Inside the home there is plenty of room for people spread out or gather around the table to play one of the many games supplied. All of the beds were very comfortable. It was the perfect week. We are looking forward to returning next summer!

Great property and communication with the host

This was our first stay at Fenwick Island and we are now making it an annual trip. Loved the area, SO much quieter than OC yet just a 20 min drive to the boardwalk. The house was very cozy and clean and the amenities were great! We took the kayak out, had multiple days at the beach, and enjoyed the backyard/dock area. The host was very quick to respond to any requests/issues and you can tell the house was renovated and details were thought through (the separate ice machine was brilliant!!). You will not regret booking this place!

Amazing Family Stay

This was our third time staying at this home. The house is always impeccably clean and accommodated our two families very comfortably. Short walk to the beach and restaurants / shops. We had some relaxing evenings sitting on the deck or having coffee in the AM. Don is always kind and prompt. We already booked our next stay, and can’t wait to come back!

A 5 Star Vacation!

From the moment of check in to our last minutes of check out everything was simply amazing. The home that Don & Felice have created is just beautiful. Every room is furnished with a coastal vibe and extremely clean! The kitchen is a dream to cook and entertain in having every item a home cook could ask for. The short walk to the beach was very easy, but there is a parking permit in case you want to drive over. This was especially helpful for us since we have a special needs child and some elderly house guests. Don goes above and beyond to make his guests comfortable even going as far as to send us an iron & ironing board! Now future guests have it to use! Don provides his guests with beach chairs, a large beach umbrella and even a wagon to transport it all to the beach. The entire Fenwick area is a dream. We enjoyed every sunrise and sunset, wonderful dinners at great restaurants, bike riding, kayaking, relaxing on the deck, and plenty of family time. We loved it so much we have already booked our 2023 stay and we are counting down the weeks. You will NOT be disappointed at 503 Glenn Ave!

Lovely first visit to Fenwick Island

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this gem of a property. The house was just as described, full of amenities with an exceptionally well-stocked kitchen. Communication with the host was helpful and timely and check-in was very easy. Don helped us out with several recommendations as we were new to the area and we enjoyed them all. Hoping the weather cooperates a little better on our next visit but we definitely fell in love with Fenwick Island and can't wait to return.

Early Family Vacation

Lovely home

Lovely, spacious home for a family gathering. Very clean, well furnished modern kitchen. Looks over a canal on Fenwick Island. Conveniently located within walking distance of beach, close to several areas with nature trails & also shops. A perfect place to enjoy a family gathering.
