"We really enjoyed the house. It was beautifully updated and decorated and had easy access to the wedding venue we were attending. We appreciated the white noise machines in each bedroom, as we were close to the highway. It really made a difference. Thank you for having those present. We slept great :)The area had 5" inches of rain and a tree had come down over the driveway. We contacted the local manager, and he was over promptly and took care of the tree. Quick and friendly!Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We loved the scenery of the mountains, stream, the firepit and of course, the cows!Thank you!"

"On the plus side, this was a CUTE, well-furnished and clean property, priced well and even had on-site laundry. It was comfortable and Andrews, NC is a cool little town. Could you please add black-out curtains? There was one issue about no instructions on how to lock the door from the exterior when we wanted to go to dinner, but (after struggling with Expedia, see below) I called the number on the sign and that representative was friendly, informed and had the answer immediately. She even offered to come over if we couldn't solve it, though we did. On the downside, all the communication before arrival (and seemingly after) had to go through Expedia, which was less than stellar. It was near impossible to get to a person, and when I did they said they had to then reach out to the host. This meant questions took forever for answers. For the doorlock question, once I finally found a phone number for Expedia (because this was time-sensitive) the Expedia Rep said he was only for questions from the host, not guests, said he'd transfer me, which went to a survey and then cut off the call. But this is Expedia, not the host or the property. 10 for the Host; 5 for Expedia. Hopefully they can figure out a way to be a better intermediary."

"No Wi-Fi, reached out to contact listed to contact if issues who gave us a different number but because wi-fi wasn’t working we didn’t get messages in time to reach out. It’s nice to get away to places and not have wifi when you don’t need it but we had some critical things we needed wifi to be available and property shows it was available, regardless we shouldn’t have to track down who is responsible for service when we used email given. The place was neatly presented but it was NOT clean. Cabinets had spills or splatter, dust on many services, lots of pet hair; which we love our hypoallergenic non shedding animals and we appreciate pet friendly but doesn’t mean it gets a pass for sheets that have lots of hair attached that’s not ours or our pets."
