“The room was fine. Built in 1904 so it is what you would suspect. Pool was full of leaves. The caretaker greeted us and told us she would prepare breakfast (frittatas etc) for us and we would eat around 8:30am-9:00am. We were downstairs around 8:30 and no sight of anyone. Two other couples came down and we waited until 9:45am. There was no “we are working on it or anything”. Actually no noise from the kitchen at all. All three couples left looking for breakfast. “We stopped here for an overnight stay before a cruise from JaxPort. It was easy to get to, clean, and easily accessible to the port the next morning. Breakfast options weren’t as good as we’d expected, but still enough for a breakfast before the cruise. The room was bigger than expected and the walk-in shower was nice! We would stay here again for the convenience factor, for sure!”
