「Pleasant stay. Clean room. A not too loud alarm did disturb our sleep a little but it must have been nothing untoward? - fire regulations said to wait in bedroom until otherwise advised... fortunately no such advice was forthcoming!」

「On the plus, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and well maintained and nicely furnished. The double bedroom with sofa bed I booked turned out to be a 2 double bedroom suite with a lounge with double sofa bed which was a wonderful surprise for myself and my 2 children and superb value. All the rooms had tvs and the bedrooms both had good tea / coffee facilities. The breakfast was also excellent - self service buffet with croissants, juice, cereals and good choice...

「Unfortunately this property has passed its heyday which is a shame as the potential is there. If you are looking for a relaxing break forget it as it is geared towards hen weekends/ spa breaks and multiple weddings. Property maintenance is sadly lacking everything looks tired and rundown. The drawer in our bedside cabinet would not close and the shower barely clung onto the wall. Suggest requesting a room somewhere quiet if there is such an area. The staff we encountered were helpful and...

「Kaye was communicative and lovely. Her home is a calming respite for busy travelers. The outdoor space is spacious and beautiful, with friendly horses nearby. The bed was a bit soft for us, but the room was very clean. My Way Guesthouse is a very good value.」

「I am going to celebrate my husband's wedding. The hotel is cosy and unique, it has a nice restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast during our stay, and a small library bar where you can chill with friends. The room is spacious and warm, we love this hotel.」

「For value for money, this place takes some beating! The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with a very generous courtesy tray. We ate in the popular restaurant and were very impressed with the menu and the quality (and quantity!) of the food. Staff serving couldn’t have been more attentive. Great maturity shown by a fairly young staff! Breakfast was great- a cold selection of cereals, fruit and yoghurt followed by your choice of hot food (not a huge menu- but plenty to choose from...

「We had a poor experience here. The heating in the cottage didn't work, so we were uncomfortably cold throughout our stay. We asked for help as soon as we checked in, but the host was unresponsive. There were small beetles in the bed, there was a leak from the base of the toilet, and the front door lock was faulty, so locking and unlocking the front door was tricky. Everything felt damp. We haven't heard anything back from the host when we identified these issues.」

「Staff were great, the hotel looked stunning and the grounds were amazing. The breakfast was delicious too. The room we had was in the attic so I kept hitting my head, the main light in the room was above the doorway which was around a corner so didn’t really help at all. There was water and hair in the bottom of the shower when we arrived as if someone had only just had a shower. There were patches of damp in the room around the window and on the ceiling.」
