"Nice owner and nice job maintaining this old motel. They were doing the roof when we stayed. The first night, it was not over our rooms, but they stopped working at 8 PM anyway. The second night, they were working over our rooms, so woke us up at 7 AM. This is all understandable; it's maintaining the property during the off-season; has to be done SOMETIME, right? My one real complaint is that they seem to use some kind of Indian fragrance in the rooms. I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't get back to sleep. The fragrance was on the pillows and bed cover. I had to put them both aside and then it was fine. I admit I'm sensitive to it, but the owner should realize that it will not be to everyone's liking and should consider withholding it, unless the guests are Indian. ;-) We will visit this motel again next year."
