“This is a beautiful house and it is a lot bigger than it looks in the photos. We had 7 of us and we had plenty of room. We loved the fire pit and the game room! The views of the lake are amazing. My husband was able to keep his bass boat at the dock and also we rented a pontoon boat at Lazy Waves for the day and docked it at the house while we had lunch. We came 12 hours from Michigan for a week long fishing trip and we had a perfect week at this house! 🙂”

The home is beautifully updated and the basement is an amazing space. We also loved the backyard. We love Forest Acres but may look at their other properties closer to campus on our next visit. Highly recommend!”

“A great rustic log cabin for bringing family together! The room with the fireplace is like a private longue with piano. My nephew brought his guitar and we sung around the fire. Only complaint would be too many drop rugs which are tripping hazards for older people. We just rolled them up and put them out of the way where necessary.”

“Our stay was nice. The house had almost everything we needed. There were even extra blankets to use when snuggling on the couch. Would have liked ice trays and a larger skillet to cook with. Plus the hot water in the shower was not hot enough. But the location of the house was easy to get to downtown and other areas in the city.”

“Soooo - I’d give this a 10 if 10 on every score except that we were surprised upon arrival at the areas not photographed. There is zero curb appeal. It looks like a WWII concrete block bunker with no landscaping. There were also some surprises inside. I did not expect the interior walls to be painted concrete block. Also there is a very unsightly exposed water heater in the kitchen and banged up fridge. BUT - please keep reading. After the initial surprise, we settled in and the place grew on us……
