“We had a lovely night's stay at the Mildmay Arms and were made to feel very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable with a powerful shower. Our evening meal was tasty and we enjoyed our evening in the pub. The staff and the locals were really friendly. There were cold meats/cheese/cereal/yogurt and toast on offer for breakfast which was included. We thought both the room and the meal were really good value and would stay here again. I would just recommend taking earplugs as the church bells……

“This was the first time i have stayed at an apartment as normal use hotels, but this maybe the way forward for me as a frequent traveler. It was like home from home with some very nice touches which whilst simple but milk in the fridge was great especially for the cup of tea in the morning. “Really nice place to stay, spotless, bathroom with a bath, very well kept. Parking opposite the hotel in a public car park which is free from 6pm until 9 am. I really liked it there, I would recommend it and I will be back again. Lastly, price was unbeatable.”

“Strong WiFi throughout. Plenty of choice for breakfast, although the cooked food was a bit salty for our liking. Bed was firm, with a creak. Non feather bedding, so great for allergies. Bathroom door wasn't keen to stay shut. Room was clean. Great selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits. Quiet location over the night. Steak and ale pie great, veg pie you needed a spoon to eat the contents with. ”
