Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a seamless experience if you're well prepared. We've compiled a list of handy tips that will get your Audlem holiday started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:

• Travelling on a plane can be a comfortable experience if you carry the right things. First things first, you'll need toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a clean set of clothes and a good book. What to wear on a flight:

• Go for comfort over style. Prepare for changes in cabin temperature by wearing layers, and wear flat, closed-toe footwear like slip-ons.
• You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by long periods of inactivity. To lower your risk on board, drink plenty of water, consider wearing compression socks or tights and do gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat.
