Should have read ALL of the reviews.
I’ve never left a bad review before but I wish I would have read ALL of the reviews before booking this place for our family get together. The house/location is awesome, just not maintained and cleaned very well between visitors. We spent the first hour cleaning the kitchen, disposing of rotten food, and cleaning the bathrooms. When we spoke to the property manager asking if someone else was staying there because of clothes and shoes left out and the place not being clean, the person acted as if I was lying. I just wanted to make sure we were safe to be there. This place has 4 bathrooms but one had an “out of order” sign on it and another one didn’t have a working toilet. There were numerous other issues that I don’t care to list. Needless to say we cut our trip early by 24 hours. The owners of this place really should do a surprise inspection because the property would be a great getaway place if it was taken care of.

The location was good and the size of the house was nice but the cleanliness of the house was absolutely terrible. The fridge was full of old takeout food and groceries that had gone bad so the fridge smelled absolutely disgusting. One of the toilet handles was sitting on the kitchen counter and that’s gross. The shower head upstairs was all janky. There was laundry in the washer that had a musty smell because clearly it was sitting in there for a while. And the dishwasher was full of dishes that smelled like something died in there. We had to throw away a lot of garbage because clearly no one came and cleaned the house. Very disappointed in how dirty the house was when we arrived.

Moma's Memorial service
We had a wonderful visit and plenty of room for the family. We were in East Texas for my mothers memorial service and we were in the perfect location. Only comment is the trash cans were full and smelled horrible and washing machine had moldy towels. Had a great time.

Relaxing/Peaceful
Upon arrival to this property and excitement filled our souls. The serenity, beauty and peacefulness of this property is just what we all wanted and needed. All the amenities that we needed and wanted were available. The wrap around porch was fabulous. The covered patio that was 50 off the main house was our little play area. Included was the massive fireplace which we had cranked up each night during our stay. The Gas grill was large enough to cook, roast our steaks, potatoes and veggies was perfect. Propane was included. We all have cocktails, ate, laughed had had fabulous conversation. Peace and relaxation in the country was perfect. Thank you!!!

Glamorous western ranch
Very peaceful stay. Plenty of room inside and out for a large family. Hosts were very gracious. Rustic large log home construction with elegant finishes in the kitchen and bathrooms. We recommend it and will book again !
