Review of Ricasoli apartment

Perfect location. Booster pump for water pressure very loud and not disclosed in listing. Handheld shower broken and very inconvenient. Beds very hard. No blankets for one bedroom. Kitchen average at best. Checkin person was great. Again location the best. More disclosure needed.

Good property, gorgeous gems a bit quirky

Loved the proximity. Views were mesmerizing. The common areas were nice. Comfortable. Clean. Beautiful rooftop veranda off one bedroom was a nice touch. The whole house was very clean and furnishings were ok. Beds were not very comfortable, but ok. Both bedrooms are upstairs, so if you have any impairments, you will not be able to get to bedrooms. The elevator is very small. Convenient, but would not fit a wheelchair or most strollers. It fits 2 people or one person and some carry on luggage. Just fyi because the booking is not clear. This really is a lovely view of the duomo. Within half block of it and all the action. You can walk to uffizi, train station, academia, bridge etc. wonderful location.

DON'T STAY HERE

Good- Location, historical beauty of the apartment. Bad- We had 4 adults & asked repeatedly for a second set of keys.Did not receive them until our fifth day there when we were leaving the next day. Side note on the keys... 4 keys to be able to access your rental. How about a keyless entry pad to alleviate that issue??? Had one outlet in each bedroom that worked so had to decide if we wanted fan or a light. June in Italy is hot and the room units could not keep up. This needs to be addressed. People pay a lot of money to stay here and we shouldn't have to be confined to our bedrooms with the door shut to feel any semblance of cool air. Horrible- Horrendous sound coming from water pump. Looking back on reviews not a new issue though they claim the part is on order. I'm talking BONE JARRING LOUD. The only way to stop it is to turn the breaker off so then you have no water to flush the toilet or brush your teeth. UNACCEPTABLE!!! I have been staying at VRBO's for over 10 years and NEVER have I been so disappointed with a property. Until that water pump issue has been resolved they should NOT be allowed to rent this property. It was truly a miserable stay here.

Noisy water pump ruins apartment

We had one major issue with this apartment mainly the noisy water pump that vibrates through the whole apartment when you run a tap or flush a toilet .This seems to have been an on going issue as when we were checking in the guide told us to switch the pumps off at night at the fuse box!! It really will spoil your time In the apartment as it vibrates and hums through the whole place , showers and a bath are a nightmare . The terrace is small and is off one of the bedrooms ,looks over the back of other properties .Good bits? Location and view of the Doumo from The lounge
