It was extremely well located for sight seeing, restaurants, central station, etc. Staff were helpful. The entrance to the property was unusual, particularly the lift which was extremely small and slow!!

These were nice enough rooms. Clean. Absolutely no complaints. Very close to the train station. We only stayed one night but walked everywhere we needed to including riverfront and the famed medieval bridge and Uffizi.

The hotel is located a few blocks away from the Milan Dome, shopping district and good restaurants. All attractions were at walking distance. Serena, the sole staff, was wonderful very friendly and helpful

Excellent place!

Luciano was a fantastic host - helped us get nearby parking and get oriented. Location was very convenient - room was very nice, clean, working A/C, and good hot water pressure in shower. Looking foreword to going back!!

Close to lots of restaurants, the cathedral and shops and the station which was very helpful. People were nice , lots of maps and stuff to look at. Had air conditioning. Our room was really quite big with a sofa and tv and desk and wardrobe. Bathroom and room were clean. Really great. Would stay here again.

Great location- 5 minute walk to the train station & 10 minute walk to the Doumo tourist attractions. Hosts are available on site for 24 hours. Quiet & clean. We opted for the Alma room which included a private bathroom & shower. The building is about 400 years old. Napoleon’s sister in law stayed here.

Ciao!!! The elevator doesn't work adequately, so keep that in mind if you're traveling w heavy luggage, people w physical disabilities or little kids. The decoration is minimal and outdated w equipment needing maintenance. Beeding is simple. Bathroom was clean. They don't have front desk after 7PM. In conclusion, the property doesn't feel like a 3 stars hotel. I only recommended it for one night stay by single travelers or couples that have every detail planned and appreciate good location over anuthing else.

Uncomfortable sleep but clean

Nicest couple who hosted and welcomed me. It is an old building and dated but it was a clean and spacious room. The bed however was extremely uncomfortable and the air conditioning didn’t work the best. Thankfully it wasn’t too hot at night.

The room we got was decent, but did not match the picture shown. Hotel is nice once you are in the room. The ground floor entrance can be better. This is close to train station and walkable to famous Florence attractions. Taking away one star for the elevator/lift. Now I understand most hotels in Europe don’t even have that option, but when you retrofit, it could have been done in a better way — it is the smallest, slowest a hottest elevator I have ever seen.
