The room was clean, we stayed in a pet friendly room. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. The only negatives was no one messaged me back on the text line when it said if you need anything message there. Just needed a box fan to block out noise- still haven’t seen a reply to yes or no. They have a small grass pad for dogs which is nice. The fridge made a high pitch motor noise the entire stay. My dog was not a fan- the box fan would have been nice.

We had a great stay at Best Western Pier Point Inn! The location is absolutely beautiful—right by the river with stunning views that made the whole experience even more relaxing for my family. The rooms were very clean, neat, and comfortable, and we really appreciated the quiet and cozy atmosphere—perfect for a family getaway. One small detail was that the toilet seat felt a bit smaller than usual, which was a little unusual, but everything was spotless and well-maintained. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of options—definitely a highlight of our stay! We also enjoyed the amenities—the pool was open until 10 PM, which was great for relaxing with the family in the evening, and the gym, while simple, was still good and had what we needed. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, making us feel comfortable from start to finish. Overall, a very enjoyable experience, and we would definitely consider staying here again.

We arrived prior to Check-in and had young kids. The front desk was nice enough to allow us pool access which helped greatly on a rainy day. However some of the pool area walls were under construction currently which took away from full potential of the area, but will look better in the future. The staff were all nice, rooms were nice, but our balcony was 1st floor and didn't have the view we hoped for, ask for 2nd floor or higher. Breakfast was great with an omelet bar and many other options. Overall the place was nice, but has room to reach full potential for the amazing location and view of the harbor.

The staff here was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast far superior from average. Jose made to order excellent omelets. The view we had was worth the stay. My only disappointment, the gym was not as advertised. The only thing that was functional was a lonely treadmill. There were no weights, as the machine was roped off and broken.

Room was very clean, bed felt fresh and very comfortable, location ideal to downtown Florence and also the State Parks, Dunes + So Jetty (crabbing dock, trails + beach). The warm breakfast was a nice amenity but only one small omelet per guest rule (understandable but I had a guest with me that wasn’t able to come down for breakfast and I was bringing a plate to) and the attendants were very wary on every trip you made to the food line which made it a little uncomfortable. They put very small portions of food out and the hotel was full! That was really the only qualm of the stay I had. Oh and maybe that there was no real view to the Siuslaw River because of overgrown trees. We were out running around finding our own views so this worked well for us anyhow!

This is the 5th Thanksgiving we have stayed at this hotel. While we do like it and LOVE the fresh omelette station for breakfast and gluten free options, the cleanliness and quality has deteriorated these last couple years. The rooms have gotten a bit dingy and the stairs a little rickety. The pool and spa have way too much chlorine… we smelled of bleach for two days after using them even after having taken multiple showers. Despite this we would still stay here again.
