Overall wonderful homey apartment with easy walking distance to Uffizi and Florence sights. There was a bit of an odor to the bathroom which looked remodeled, so overall still a very good option.

Great Stay

Had a great trip. The location of the flat was perfect with a lot to do nearby. Plenty of great restaurants, pubs, museums, all within walking distance. Communication was great and easy, and we would highly recommend this location to others.

Great location, great host, be aware of noise

Overall we had a good experience. The host was very responsive on all communications and accommodated us for a slightly early checkin. The property is as described. EXTREMELY well located and spacious. We loved the fresco at the main bedroom ceiling. The only disadvantage is the noise from the night club across the street (see pic). The host did their best to muffle the noise by installing a sound barrier window and providing ear plugs. However, the party starts around 10PM and ends around 4AM. So, if you’re a light sleeper (especially in second bedroom) be ready! Otherwise, we recommend this place.

Fantastic location in Florence. We are a family with our 3 older teens and this property was fantastic for us. We all had space and were very comfortable. Fantastic location, I would recommend using the supplied earplugs and closing the shutters at night to lower noise & light from the club opposite. We were able to access and walk everywhere. Would definitely recommend this property and book again. Thank you

Liai the owner was very thoughtful, my family and I arrived and there were a couple bottles of water and soda and some snacks waiting. Towels were ready for each of us on our beds. Old building but it’s well maintained. We just wished the AC was stronger. The only downside was the restaurant/bar next to the apartment, their guests were loud at night. Our favorite part in this apartment was it was walkable to everywhere and grocery was a block away.

We had a lovey stay here. There is a lot of space in the apartment with 2 bedrooms and a separate living room and kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The location is amazing. The host was very communicative. We have a few minor issues and received responses right away. It is across the street from a club that can get loud. However, with the windows shut, you could not hear much. It was very hot in Florence when we were there so we needed the air conditioning. There is one AC unit in each bedroom but not one in the living room, which did get hot during the day. Other than this minor issue, we loved our stay here and recommend it!

Perfect location, except for light sleepers

The host was incredibly easy to communicate with, and remained attentive our entire stay. The apartment itself is mostly as advertised, was clean upon arrival, and included a number of nice touches like snacks and refreshments on the dining table. Centrally located, and only 2kms from Santa Maria Novella station, it's location could not be better. Every attraction you could think of is within walking distance. If you're overly picky like myself, you will start to see small, unique things about the apartment, but that's part of the historic allure. As for cons, we had 2. 1. The wifi signal cuts in and out in the main bedroom, which when combined with virtually no LTE signal in the area ( thick concrete buildings ) made it harder for us to enjoy some down time during the afternoons that hit +38 all 3 days we were in Florence. The host has added Wi-Fi extenders, but it didn't seem to help, as more than 2 device connecting at once would cause the Extender to fail. 2. And at no fault of the Host, the apartment is right across the street from a nightclub called Red Garter, which turns a nice quiet street during the day, into a dance party from 10PM to 4 AM nightly. While the host provides earplugs, if you're a light sleeper like myself, you will want to reconsider staying here. I slept maybe 8 hours total during our 3 night stay. Red Garter does have amazing food though! So if you sleep like a rock, this place is perfect for you. If you don't, consider your options.
