Although the property and the room are a bit cramped, it was perfect for a one night stay as we planned. It was at a walking distance from all the locations we wanted to visit in Florence. The staff were immensely helpful and welcoming, they helped with our late check-in, and guided us to the best places for food and drinks, while also accommodating our requests for the room.

The reception staff were not very friendly. They were rather dismissive when we checked in and when I asked for some guidance with dinner recommendations, etc. However, the lovely woman who was assisting guests at breakfast was lovely. She was cheerful and accommodating, making guests feel welcomed.

Was ok. Generally the property needs refurbishment. Starting to look tired inside. Booked for the charm but shabby isnt charming. Poor nights sleep due to loud lift motor. Staff were friendly, hotel had character but showing wear and tear. Bed comfortable, shower hot and strong water flow. No coffee making facilities in room. Unfortunately the lift noise wouldn't allow a full nights sleep.

The staff was friendly and accomodating. My room and inside hotel was clean. It is very near to restaurants, shops all transportation and landmarks. The only negative is they were doing repairs outside the hotel and scaffold was obstructing my window and made the sidewalk very tight to walk. Overall I had a great experience staying at this hotel.

Location was good as it’s close to train station and lots of food places. However, there is construction going on next-door. We were in a terrible room next to the elevator which you could hear all night. The shower is extremely small. Smaller than my RV shower! Thank goodness I only stayed 1 night

The hotel is perfect for a short stay. We had a triple room, which was the perfect size for our group. While the rooms could use some maintenance, it's Italy older buildings are part of the charm. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There was a bit of noise at times due to construction, but it wasn’t a major issue. The A/C didn’t cool the room as much as we’d like, but we learned that’s typical due to local regulations. Overall, a decent stay. I’d probably stay here again.
