We had a wonderful time in Florence thanks to our stay at Ponte Vecchio. The rooms are spacious, clean, and in a centralized location in Florence. The restrooms have been remodeled, and are small but with 3 of them available, there’s a fit for everyone. The Uffizi, Duomo, and Academia are all in walking distance allowing you to visit multiple museums, attractions, and shopping locations in one event filled day. The restaurants, coffee, and taxi/metro/buses are all easily accessible. The apartment has a wonderful view of the Uffizi, and you are thrust into the atmosphere of Florence. The apartment itself is very spacious and fit 6 people comfortably. It is uniquely decorated and the amenities such as a washer/dryer and elevator are awesome. A word of caution when booking your stay. The apartment is quite difficult to find, but they will email you and help you. The Expedia listing and the host are misaligned. The listing mentions that check out is at 11 am. However, the host will email you and inform you that checkout is out 10. The listing mentions there is wi-fi, but there isn’t. The main street along the apartment is lively and busy which can make it a but difficult to sleep. However, if you’re okay with that, this will be the place to stay.

Incredible location. Great for the needs of our group. Phenomenal to sit and watch the sun set over the city, glass of wine in hand. Only complaint is that I had some work to do while on vacation and there was no internet in the VRBO *or it was broken while we were there. Ended up being an excuse to blow off work and enjoy Florence!

This place was A DREAM! The views from the windows are absolutely incredible and the giant sitting room was perfect for our needs. You can look out over the river, the bridge and the Duomo! Everything worked well, the space was well furnished and there was even a lift to get to the 4th floor! I would sit with a glass of wine or coffee and just look out the window. The only trade off for the location was the noise of the busy street, but if you put on a fan or white noise machine in the bedrooms you'll be good to go!
THE WINDOW!
Can you tell we loved this view?

The views were spectacular and the host was exceptionally helpful and responsive throughout our stay, including assisting with restaurant reservations and local reccommendations. The apartment was clean and well appointed.Future guests should be aware that the primary bedroom is quite small. With luggage, there is very limited space to move around the bed and we found it difficult to unpack and get settled comfortably. There are also quite a few stairs to get to the elevator. The location is direcly in the heart of the historic center near the Duomo, which is extremely busy and crowded during the day. While this makes it very convenient for sightseeing, guests looking for a quieter Florence experience may prefer a different neighborhood. We especially enjoyed the deck in the evenings. The views were great and it was fun watching the sunset and listening to the live music from the streets below.
