The location and overall layout of the apartment were amazing. However, the nonfunctioning air conditioning units were a big negative since it was 90F in Florance all week and the apartment is located on the 5th floor of the building. The apartment comes with 4 installed AC units (one in each bedroom and one in the living room), but they would only run for a few minutes at a time before tripping the fuse and shutting off. When they were running, they were not releasing enough cold air to cool a room. I was in constant communication with the host about this. He finally came to the apartment, cleaned the units on day 4, but it did not fix the problem. There was no compensation offered for our discomfort. I never would have rented the apartment had I known there was no adequately functioning air conditioning.

great potential but disappointing

The view was wonderful. Both day and night views were impressive. The location was in the center of the Ponte veccio neighborhood which was good for walking. It does present some limitaions if you have a car as vehicles are not allowed after certain hours. The apartment was spacious and had a lot of potential for being top rate. The washer was a bonus. Generally, I found the premises to be shabby and somewhat neglected. In my bathroom the towel bar was hanging as one side had become unattached. Several lamps had light bulbs burned out or missing. In one bedroom, the bulb was missing and then we discovered the the lamp did not work at all. One of the comforters did not look clean. It may have been an old stain but should have been replaced regardless. Overall, we all agreed that the apartment could have been excellent. Two of the four in our group were not comfortable staying here. The other two felt that the roominess and view made up for the the issues.

One twin in each room was made. A couple had to sleep in different rooms. Only one bathroom had toilettes. The toasted didn’t work. It was noisy at all hours of the morning outside the master bedroom. The kitchen cupboards were very unorganized. No dish cloth for cleaning the kitchen.

Girls trip to Italy

Location was perfect!! Lots of restaurants, bars and sight seeing. The apartment was perfect for the 6 of us and had a lift for us to us with our luggage.

Outstanding location. Very good premises for a week stay. Central to many bus tours. Easy walking everywhere. Fabulous restaurants near by. Excellent experience. Please ensure all appliances in good working order before checkin. Fix broken furniture, Could have been a 5 out of 5 with these fixes.

Stunning location, beautiful apartment, wonderful host

Easy access and interaction with the host/management. Beautiful large apartment, classic Italian decor, romantic, and one of the most beautiful spots in Florence. Definitely would recommend.

Mixed experience

Great location for getting to everything but very noisy. Apartment was a little worn around the edges and offered no comfortable places to sit and relax with others. Furniture was hard and uninviting. Plumbing in bathrooms hardly worked; one bathroom had limited water in shower. We were issued one bath towel per person that were threadbare and discolored. While the apartment had some charm, we would not stay there again.

Lovely view but needs an upgrade in furniture and kitchenware

The location is fantastic as is the view from the living room. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and the bathrooms are modern. They need to get some new furniture in the living room, it is extremely old (michaelangelo old!) and uncomfortable. The heat in the living room also did not work well. They also need to get a new microwave (broken) and coffee maker which is circa 1945.

Center of it all!

Safe and comfortable! A short walk to all that Florence has to offer! Only recommendation would be better instructions on how to use the tv. Thanks for an unforgettable stay!

Perfect location.

This apartment is in the perfect location to walk to everything. The view of the ponte vecchio and Arno river, was perfect. The apartment is big and airy!! I’d recommend staying here… no question!!

Best location in Florence

This property is the ideal location for a trip to Florence. It literally sits on the Arno River across from the Ufizzi Museum. It is in the middle of all the action without any of the fuss or distractions. Less than a minute to Ponte Vecchio Bridge and downtown Florence, there is no better apartment in the city. Unfortunately, our trip began on a poor note when we could not find access to the apartment and found ourselves with a nine passenger van in a restricted motor vehicle area unable to find parking. The owner responded to our dire circumstances with what appeared to me as late and limited information. The check in procedure could certainly use a makeover. But as mentioned, once this fiasco was addressed, this apartment became one of the highlights to our trip.

Fantastic

If anything this property is undersold. The views are magnificent as is the location. You can literally walk anywhere in old Florence. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Everything mentioned in the ad is positively true.

Florence Family Trip

The location is great! The host made check in and out easy and they were easy to get in touch with. 3 bedrooms 3 baths is great and the size of the unit for 6 people was perfect. You are on a busy street and the units windows are old so it’s very loud in the bedrooms. The motorcycles and people on the street are loud. The people above have young children that ran around until 1am and the grocery store (which is nice) to have across the street starts opening at 5am and the guys are loud.

Perfect Location

Authentic Florence apartment! The pictures are accurate! It’s an amazing view of the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi. You can’t pick a more perfect spot to access everything. Morning neighborhood walks. Great laundry access too for travelers! We will share with friends and family! Fantastic! Drivers were also always on time!

I should keep this place secret but…

This apartment is at a great location with a close view of the Arno, Ponte Vecchio, and Florence skyline. Clean facility and safe. Stefania and her family were accommodating, friendly, and professional. I will return to Florence again one day and hope to stay again in this apartment.
