Cozy Log Cabin Escape on Lake Emily

10/10 Excellent

"The host was very kind and professional. Made sure everything was good and kept communication with us throughout our visit. This place is very clean and organized and looks even better in person. This has a real man cave cabin feel to it. Everything you need here is provided. Just bring your food and clothes and some wood and you have a weekend you can remember for a long time. It was a huge bonus my uncle lives a few miles down the road and we were able to spend some time with him as well. This location is private and quiet. The scenery is great looking out into the lake and the water is very clear. It was unfortunate that the wind kept us from doing the fishing we had hoped for but we tried anyway. I plan to come back here again and utilize the pontoon boat and make up for what we missed this time around. We were able to relax play some games have a nice fire and of course eat a lot of food ! Thanks again for having us."

"The owner was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating to our family upon our early arrival prior to 3 pm. The room was nostalgic and reminded my husband and me of staying with our grandparents. We loved the VHS tape player with movies to borrow in the lobby. There were plenty of modern amenities like over 100 channels on the TV, and wifi. The beds were more comfortable than the average firm and hard hotel beds. After a long day of exploring we got in late and the lack of blackout curtains woke us up to the sunrise early. We liked the larger mini fridge and freezer in our room. The property was nice. We enjoyed the patio furniture and pretty flowers. The grill available to guests was also a bonus. We will definitely stay again."

"My stay at Lakeside Bed and Breakfast was perfect and absolutely delightful! The room was beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. The property is on a lake, surrounded by trees, lovely and peaceful even though it is right on the edge of Florence. Very easy to find. The breakfast was delicious and generous every day. I especially loved the fresh-squeezed orange juice. The hosts were very good at making guests feel welcome and pampered! I could not have asked for anything more."
