We chose to stay in Floridia to give easy access to the Catania airport for an early flight. Of all our lodging spots, B&B Mediterraneo was the least prepared for our arrival and provided the lowest level of service. It is actually a suite of rooms on the 3rd floor of an apartment building. "A clean, very well equipped apartment on a lovely quiet little street. Looks like a very recent renovation of an historic building. We had a bit of a problem getting in as the instructions were sent very late, and it’s totally automated. However, after that, communication was very good. The electric stopped working and a staff person was there to help within minutes.
