「We enjoyed our five night stay. We caught lots of fish. Two big catfish and two large mouth bass. And lots of crappie . We ate all of our meals there. Went to marengo cave. And did some antique shoppers. Lots of relaxing. Great place. 」

「The owner was lovely. It was my first time doing something besides a hotel and she kindly answered all my questions. They had farm fresh eggs for breakfast. Super cozy and homey. Like being a grandmas house. we had an amazing time. 」

「Our weekend stay was perfect! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and very remote. The property was so beautiful with great bird watching. It was a perfect way to spend my 48th birthday. We will definitely be back!」

「Cute cabin. Quiet and peaceful setting. Didn't see another person while we were there. Very close to Squire Boone Caverns and less than an hour from Marengo. 」

「Very charming cabin and decorated authentically. We were very comfortable and also treated to an afternoon snack upon arrival as well as tasty breakfast items for each day. We enjoyed a walk down the road by the stream, but unable to canoe in the lake. Our host and hostess were very nice and friendly and very accommodating. Delightful experience. 「We chose this property due to its close proximity to Ft. Knox, only about an 18 minute drive. Our daughter was graduating from Advanced Camp, and this option was so much more convenient and affordable than multiple hotel rooms. 「We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully renovated cabin. It is perfect for a family retreat and is very well maintained. It is very peaceful and surrounded by beautiful scenery. We are planning on staying here again in the future if we visit Louisville. 」

「This house is exceptional! Architecturally I just can't say how fantastic it is... that wall of windows and sliding doors, the deck with built-in hammock is hands down my grandsons favorite. The views from here are quite pleasing whether from a rocking chair, table or hammock. I'd love to experience this in every season. We've played in the creek (which due to excessive rain is a fast moving stream), finding multiple geodes and skipping stones. The outside shower has also been a huge hit....
