Fantastic location and great views
We spent a long weekend here and it has all you need to have a comfortable stay. The balcony is lovely and great for morning coffee. Location is great for the beach and town.

Perfect location. Within walking distance to all amenities beach, bars, restaurants, town. Spacious and equipped with everything we needed. Very good communication with the owner who responded quickly if I had any queries. No problem parking outside the property. Will definately be back

Home Sweet Home
We stayed for 6 nights and were so very comfortable and relaxed. It felt like we lived there and got to see the comings and goings of the neighbours. The stairs.. yes there is a good amount of them but still worth it. Dont let that distract you from booking here. We would stay again and recommend.

Great location, great town, GREAT view, great owner!
Highly recommend! The location on the water right in front of the 'Zig Zag' path and super cool park with pebble beach is GREAT for families with kids 2 to 15. And Folkestone is just the nicest seaside village. The owner was extremely responsive, informative and friendly. Great get away in an English cultural seaside town with an amazing safe location with incredible place amenities.

Perfect for us!
We spent a very happy long weekend here. It was plenty spacious enough for the whole family, the kitchen very well equipped, beds comfy and as for the view from the balcony, that was breathtaking! It was also so tranquil, no traffic noise at all. You can walk to the beaches and the pier. There are many lovely vistas along the way. All-in-all, this place was perfect for our family weekend away. We all loved it.

Wonderful apartment
We stayed for two nights, and found the apartment comfortable, well equipped, and in a lovely location by the sea. The view made the stairs worth the climb. Close to many interesting historical sites, beautiful areas for hiking, and several lovely restaurants. Communication with the property manager was great- quick and informative responses. Overall, highly recommend as a place to stay when exploring the Dover region.

Great property with lots of space for family dinners and entertaining.
Fantastic place with an old worldly feel, nice and cozy. Location is ideal close to town centre and on the cost with great views over the Chanel from the balcony, smashing!

It was a lovely spacious flat, a bit old fashioned but we loved that. The steps up to the last floor you get used to and is good exercise :-) Lovley sea views from the balcony. It ticks all the boxes.

It were two wonderful weeks in the flat that was very well equipped. We found everything we needed for our stay. Fantastic view over the sea. The balcony is wonderful and there is a spacious bathroom. We enjoyed it so much that we booked immediately for the next year. The stairs gave us a good fitness. It disturbed us not at all. The host is very friendly, obliging and uncomplicated. We are looking forward a lot to next year. Thanks for all.

Great apartment! It was comfy & clean. Beautiful location! Very quiet and peaceful. The view from the balcony was simply stunning. Though its worth noting its on the 4th floor with no lift, so there were many steps but that didn’t bother us. It was a lovely escape from the city. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely flat, stairs abit of a killer but well worth it for the view. The flat is massive. Very old fashioned, but I loved that. Would definitely recommend if you are able to climb 59 stairs.

Apartment with views.
Enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Very quirky, but very spacious, especially for 3 of us. Very well placed for walks into Folkestone and Sandgate. We had lovely weather but unfortunately the balcony was being renovated so we couldn't use it. The owner had informed us of this a few weeks prior to our stay. We're much fitter now as the apartment is on the fifth floor with no lift!

Clifton Crescent Review
The accommodation is excellent, overlooks the sea and has a wonderful view. Everything is accommodated for, no need to bring anything with you other than your personal items such as toiletries, clothes, food and drink. Lovely large kitchen with plenty of crockery and utensils etc. Living room and bedrooms are of a large size as well. The property owner is an excellent communicator and very responsive for anything required. All in all, I cannot fault anything with this property or the property owner, I would highly recommend this property. The check in process is highlighted a 3 stars as the communication coming from the Vbro website did not give me all the information, as the owner had been communicating earlier with me I was able to contact the property owner who responded immediatley and there were no issues.

Lovely views and surrounding area
The property is up 5 flights of stairs but that didn’t bother us. The views out of the property were spectacular. The Leas and the beach area are really lovely. We had a nice walk into the town. The property itself is rather dated but in some ways quite quirky. The only thing that bothered us was that it didn’t seem that clean. I took plates and cutlery out they were still dirty. The walls could do with a lick of paint and the bedroom where our boys slept did smell of stale smoke. The shower door was still dirty. Although not too pleased when we arrived we soon got over that and had a very pleasant stay. The property is quirky and you do feel like you are going back in time. It was warm and comfortable and lovely to look at the sea. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Homely Retro with a Fabulous View
A spacious flat where you can keep a constant eye on the sea and its changing colours and moods. You need not move from the roomy balcony but if you do there is art and beaches and street food to keep you well entertained. A lovely relaxing place to stay.

Holiday by the sea in Folkestone
A large, top floor flat with spectacular views of the sea over the Leas at Folkestone. Be prepared to climb quite a few stairs to get there - but the views from the balcony and seaward facing bedrooms make it worth the effort. Could do with a bit of an update inside - but it'ss spacious, with a large family bathroom and many will like the period features.

If you are umming and aahing about which property to pick, this one is an absolute winner. Lots and lots of steps to the top, but you are rewarded with bags of space and arguably the best view in town. Do it. You won't be disappointed.

Fabulous Folkestone Find
From start to finish, this has been a wonderful experience. The flat is extremely spacious, comfortably furnished and very well equipped, having everything you could need for a perfect home away from home holiday at the English seaside. The location in Folkestone is perfect, at the quieter end, which was lovely, but still within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The small strip of private garden, shared with the other residents of Clifton Crescent, the proximity to the sea and the fact that it is the penthouse all give an air of exclusivity. I really couldn't recommend it highly enough. Hats off to Christopher for such a smashing stay. We hope to be back some day!

Short walk (with lots of stairs) to the beach park and great views of the Channel from the balcony. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, the shower water had good pressure and heat. We had a nice stay and would stay here again.

Perfect for what we needed
I stayed here with some friends who came over from France for the weekend and we had a great time. Perfect location, easy to find, easy to access, and much bigger than expected. It was great to be so close to the water and the fresh air, and the view from the balcony really is as good as the picture on a sunny day :) Plenty of things to do in the local area too, so we had a fun time exploring. Great place, very homely. Ideal position with fantastic views.
The property was clean, tidy and very well equipped. It’s position was ideal for walking to the beach and the town. The view was beautiful and well worth the climb up to the top floor. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Lovely flat with gorgeous view -- kid friendly and perfect for large family!
We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It truly has everything a family could need such as toys, crib and booster seat! You can't beat the view and the leas is steps away. Overall, really great amenities. One note: If you have issues with stairs, this place isn't for you as there is no lift/elevator, but after the first day we were used to going up/down and it wasn't an issue.

Amazing view, cosy flat and near to a great children's play area
We had a lovely stay in Christopher's flat. Everything was as per the pictures and comments on the website. It was a nice cosy place to spend Christmas. We enjoyed a lovely beach walk and the brilliant children's playground at the Leas. It's near to quite a few hotels if you want to go very locally for a drink. Easy communication with Christopher. We would definitely go back.

Sun, sea and comfort
This is a perfect destination for any group of people, young or old. It would be a problem if stair-climbing is an issue however. We didn't mind. The kitchen is huge and well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the whole flat was spotlessly clean. We spent our time having leisurely meals in between walks and bouts of sunbathing and swimming in the sea. The runners in our group loved the close proximity to the promenade which is a picturesque running track. Only regret is I wish we had longer!
