“Nice little hotel. Very friendly desk clerk. Quite efficient and helpful. Very complicated series of doorways to get through to get in and out of the hotel and to rooms inside the hotel. Also quite hazardous stairs if you are above the first floor. Forget about the top floor if you are not young and nibble! Parking is convenient but minimal. Can get blocked in by later arrivals. Reception hours are minimal as well. Although it does state this on the hotel info page. Restaurant has ok food.……

“Very comfortable bed but room far far too hot, window open but directly out side the beer garden so noisy. This would be fine if thoughtful ear plugs were provided. Felt quite exposed opening the window more, but room temperature so high, fan provided was pathetic so did not sleep well at all. I’m sure on a cool day it would be lovely however. Sadly had to leave before breakfast at 8 during weekends - I made a mistake and thought it would be 7.30 still. Lovely place but potential to be fantastic……

“Schöne restaurierte Türen mit alten Schlössern. Echt schick!”

“Stayed for one night , the room was nice with a large bathroom. Breakfast was very good (full English) and staff very good. This should be described as a Bed & Breakfast not a Hotel.”

“Booked the Bell for 1 overnight stay. Staff were welcoming, plenty of space to park. Our room was clean, however the water pressure in the shower was poor and the place is in need of a complete refurbishment. However, our room was comfortable enough for a short stay.”

“Upgraded to the Studio. Good communication, lovely accommodation with well appointed clean kitchen and bathroom. Friendly, welcome from the owner. ”

“Firstly the good points. Location, large room, outlook onto the garden was all good. However, the downsides 1. Despite check in advertised as "from 14:00" , when we arrived the front desk was shuttered and locked so we waited. Luckily a guest came down the stairs and told us check in had to be done at a pub across the busy road from the hotel. This is not stated anywhere on the confirmation document. Anyway, got the key and returned to the hotel. The room was very sparsely furnished but……

“I absolutely loved this charming cottage. It was wonderful to get away from the city and relax. Mary was a fantastic hostess, making sure we had everything we needed.”

“A lovely B&B that was very tidy, allowed me to bring my dog and the breakfast was delicious.”

“You get what you pay for here . Very helpful staff . A clean room could do with an update , older style mattress but still comfortable , A quiet pub in a tucked away location and it has all you need quiet room ,T.V , a good shower , Tea and coffee , an ok bed . Bit like staying at an older relative, I will go back and use it again.”
