「Clean Room and Friendly Helpful staff」

「This is a very nice old historic inn. It has a restaurant that serves lunch and dinner, and a bar inside, as well as a shady garden with places to sit outside as you enjoy a drink or food. Nice big porch out front with chairs on it too. Our room had another sitting room in it that was nice to have. Not sure if they all do. It includes a free, great breakfast at a sister property a few doors down where the food is made fresh for your order. The property is well kept, clean, and the staff...

「Had a lady help me find my room which was nice. Our room was decent, no bugs or anything suspicious. Only problem was some dried pee stains on the floor of the toilet. For a last minute booking, this was good. Area felt safe too compared to others I’ve been too.」

「Imagine a hotel that has been completely destroyed, but then remodeled and renovated, but only 80%. Whether this was an amazing place that got partially destroyed, or a fully destroyed place that got partially renovated it does not matter. Sheets and bathroom were clean, but furniture was partially destroyed.」

However, the shower rod was sagging so the shower curtain would not stay in place, and the ice machine was near our room and was very noisy, especially when someone wanted ice each morning at 5:30. 「The room was not cleaned, there were stains and food debris on the sheets, clear signs of bedbugs being present, all metal surfaces were rusted over, the mattresses were damp and sticky, the "staff" was a video kiosk that connected to a call center. Even after not staying in the room at all, and alerting the "staff" of all the issues and that I wanted to cancel my stay (I wasn't in the room for more than 10 minutes before deciding to leave) they refused to refund my money unless they showed me...
