“Our family had a wonderful stay at Sunset Cottage. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the lake and all the amenities that were provided. The cabin was just as described and any question or concern we had was answered promptly. It was the perfect vacation to slow down and make family memories. ”

“We enjoyed a beautiful week at Sunset Cottage. Keith was there to greet us and help with luggage and gave us a brief tour of the cottage. The views were beautiful with lots of activity with swans, loons, a variety of birds, and you never knew what you were going to see. The cottage was clean, modern, and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a great week on the water. The water is shallow near docking but if you pay attention to charts you shouldn’t have a problem. Keith was helpful with……

“The hosts, Brett and Alice, are special people, always very helpful and accommodating. The cabin and property are clean, well kept and everything you need is there. The view is amazing and surroundings peaceful. We love it here.”

“Cute little cabin that had a lot of amenities available. Local grocery is only a few minutes away. Problems: beds are hard, the main „queen“ bed is two twins pushed together but the seam isn‘t connected so we kept falling through the middle and it was too small. ‚Would’ve chosen something else had I known. Fan in living room didn‘t work, someone removed the chain and still couldn‘t get it to turn on. Very hot during the summer. There are a few restaurants nearby within walking, be sure to check……

“Fishing and Swimming is good. Boat Launch was a little wash out at the bottom so we didn't risk taking our boat on it so that was a little disappointing. Absolutely dead Cell Service but good Wifi so we were able to connect that way. Humid week so it was a little bit hot inside even with the fans going. Plenty of room for a big family. Jeff is a very good host.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Jane’s house. It had everything we needed and was probably the cleanest house we’ve ever rented. Located in a very quiet neighborhood just outside of Sackets Harbor (which turned out to be a lovely place with great opportunities for walking), it was a great location near Lake Ontario, the St. Lawrence, and the things we wanted to do. Jane was a most gracious and responsive host, again the best we’ve ever had.”

“This is a very nice property with more positives than negatives.I'll put the negatives first: No curtains on windows other than in the bedrooms/bathroom. This one seems kind of odd, but there is no way to cover the windows in the kitchen, dining room, or living room (which faces the lake). This combined with slightly close neighbors means that the lights they leave on or conversations can be seen and heard. I could not get the side door to lock.
