Great stay

This was a great stay for us. We had 4 adults total, but needed 3 beds. The king size bed was very comfortable, Murphy bed was adequate for an 18 year old. The pull out beds for the chairs are definitely not great for an adult, although my son used one with few complaints. The unit was very clean, bathrooms were nice and had plenty of towels. We did need to ask for extra bedding for the pull out. The kitchen was very nice and had everything we needed to make breakfasts. Check in was easy, pool was nice, parking was always available, Hollywood Beach is such a great location!

great location and setup

Quiet location, away from crowds, but close to everything. Very clean, perfect having units A & B for my son and myself. Very well equipped and not run down like many timeshares. Parking was a bit tight, but never had an issue. Only thing I'd change is for the windows to open.

Perfect location, better suited for 4 than 6

Overall, our stay was a good experience. Location was wonderful, and the rooms and entire facility were clean. Staff were courtesy, especially upon arrival, despite it being around midnight after a late flight. However, VRBO guests should be aware, this is not a good fit for six people, four maximum, unless two are small children. When searching, VRBO requires children's ages to be specified so booking for 4 adults and two teenagers should not have pulled up these two units as an option. We made due for our two-night stay, but I can't say it was ideal as far as the bed options went. Thankfully, the listing description has been updated since I origianlly booked, it does now specify CHILD pullout for the 3rd and 4th beds.

Wonderful Stay Despite a Check-In Mix-Up

Our stay at this VRBO rental was fantastic overall! The accommodations were spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and the location was unbeatable—truly a perfect spot for our trip. However, our check-in experience was a bit bumpy. We had reserved a two-room unit, but upon arrival, only one room was ready. After heading out for dinner, we returned to find that the second room we had originally booked was occupied by someone else. The front desk relocated us, explaining that owners sometimes occupy different units than the ones listed for rent. A bit of an inconvenience, but we rolled with it!We settled into our new room, planning to enjoy some cocktails, only to find that the ice maker wasn’t working. When I inquired about another unit with a working one, I was told I could grab ice from the garage—an unexpected workaround but manageable.Despite these hiccups, the stay was great, and the cleanliness and location truly stood out. Just a heads-up to future guests—when booking through an owner, you may not get the exact unit they own, so keep that in mind.

Not able to check in early. Not able to check in on time. Check in one and a half hours late due to room not being ready. Front desk staff showed no sense of urgency. Samuel in parking and Adios at marketing were awesome, friendly and helpful. Asked for do not disturb sign that never showed up. Safe was locked. Staff opened it, but it still was not in working order. Murphy bed slopes toward your head. Had to shove throw pillows underneath it. Blankets not large enough to cover two people in the bed. Deadbolt on door only works if you lift the door. Mold growing around the edges of the shower. Other room, mini fridge was iced over. We cleaned it out but it never was able to cool beverages. hairdryer broke, asked for fix or replace that neverhappened.

Tale of 2 experiences…

Check in and front desk- Not horrid but close. As we were checking in the rude lady at the front said with distain to a colleague “He gave us a 1star”. I now know why. And the location in the back (beach side) is so sketch and dilapidated I thought the building was empty and condemned. Plus, description of the room is so false. No way it can sleep more than 4 adults. Just 2 beds and the green couch which is completely covered up by a Murphy pull down and a king in the other room. They count 2 chairs that pull out to toddler sized beds that are broken and would NEVER put a toddler on as they are not safe. This is one side… the other side is the house keeping staff…5 star. VERY clean. You would not know you are a few feet from the sandy beach. Housekeeping 5stars and being located on the beach and near restaurants great. All of this plus a very high price merits a 2 star review. We will not be returning nor recommending this location.

Very nice, we really enjoyed our time here

Check in and check out was so awesome. We started our time here after getting back from a cruise which is super early. We got there at 9am, and they gave us a room. I'm sure that wouldn't always happen but this really helped us out because we had all of our luggage. Then on checkout out, we got out of the room in time but our flight was delayed for 4 hours. They watched our luggage while we chilled at the pool and beach all day. So we loved the front desk person. The room was super clean and the two beds were great. That fold out single chair thing is not great though. You might be able to make it work with a small kid. Kitchen was great, the room was overall really good. Pool area was just fine, the pool needs some work and could have been cleaner, but we swam in it and the hot tub. We ate some of the food from the bar which was simple but good in a pinch. The area is fantastic. The boardwalk will take you to all sorts of great restaurants, and the beach is right there and beautiful. One minor issue, I think the seal on the trash chute at the end of the hall (floor 6) might be broken because the hallway stunk of trash. Might just have been that floor, or maybe the trash needed to be taken out or something. Not a deal breaker. We'd come back.

Loved the beach

Family of 6 staying the night before a cruise. The property was as described, very clean and very comfortable. Two of the beds were fold out chairs that worked fine for my kids, but would be small for an adult. We would gladly stay here again.

This is our third time staying at Hollywood Beach Tower. I would rate it as a 3.5 star condo/resort but it is like a 5 star. It is immaculate. Staff are friendly. Pool and hot tub are nice and warm. Managed very well. Very quiet, yet right on the boardwalk and beach and centrally located between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We rented adjoining rooms Suite A+B for our family of four and it was perfect. Will definetely be back again. Thank you!

Perfect for our Needs

Two couples day before a cruise. One came in morning, the other after midnight. We were going to leave luggage at the desk until checkin time but our room was available so they kindly let us in early and we were able to do some things like the pool, the beach, dinner and boardwalk. The concierge was most helpful, especially when he told me about a $1 area tram that I could catch to go do some shopping. Easily let my sister and husband in when they arrived at 1am. Great accommodation for 2 couples with two separate areas with beds and bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was just ok. There were 4 adults and two children. The beds are in dire need of attention. We had a 2 room lock off , each room had an occasional chair that made into a bed. The children couldn’t sleep on them because they did not seem safe, they were missing springs that attach sling under the mattress to the frame. We had to take the mattresses off and put the kids on the floor. The Murphy bed is horrible , it fold down with the back of the couch so the arms are higher than the mattress and nearly impossible to get out of bed , possibly a thicker mattress would help and hubby had back aches everyday. Pillows!!!! You can buy better pillows in a dollar store! Blankets need replacing they were pilled and rough. They don’t conserve water, it’s takes a very long time to get any hot water. Our door did not lock automatically so we had to use the connecting room to go through and use that door. Pool was very cold even though they say it’s heated. Maybe a 3 star is too high.

Great location.

Checking in was nightmare. Check in time was 4. We did not get into our room until 6. Once we got in our suite it was very nice. There was definitely a “pot smoking problem”. The smell came through the vent in both bathrooms. The pool had a great view of the beach and was warm.. But was not clean never saw it vacuumed the whole week only swept the sand to the edges. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. All in all I would stay here again.

Directly above the ocean and boardwalk! We had a wonderful stay!

The space was offered as a two bedroom, but it is actually a one bedroom with a Murphy bed in the living space. As long as you know that in advance, it's fine. The pool area is an oasis, with music and a small food service area.
