The listing here is very far fetched. The room was run down and had black mold on the curtains, and pictures. The amenities were short of nothing really. Just beach towels, which was a headache trying to get. The front desk staff were friendly but didn’t seem to really care much abo it anything.

There is no coffee maker, and our window was extremely hard to open. Our deluxe room overlooked an alley instead of the ocean like I was led to believe. Also, it is very noisy inside of the hotel.

The housekeeping lady that worked on 501 was rude. First they ignored the Do Not Disturbed sign on the door and started knocking. I opened the door and she asked " you check out now". I said give us 15 min. "She said you check out now?" I said in 15 min. I went back inside to grab my suitcase. Literally, I saw here 30 seconds later in a room by the elevator. She said You check Now, I said 15 min, I have to go get a cart. No hair dryer in room 501. Pay attention on expedia, the suites online have pics of balcony ocean view, so I booked it. Didn't realize that it was a city view until I got there and it did say city view. Why have pics of balcony/ocean view when its city view.

The room quality was extremely poor for a $300 a night stay. We booked a King Bed deluxe Ocean View room that was misrepresented by the imagery shown on Expedia. We were told that we should have booked directly through the hotel and ended up getting a double queen bed room. Aside from the poor worn out quality of the room, one bed had a broken box spring and the second bed had a twin box spring under the Queen mattress after complaining to management, they reluctantly gave us a partial discount for the first night and ultimately a room with a balcony and the full ocean view. The balcony and the Ocean view was 4 star, the beds and the rest of the room were reasonable. I chatted with Expedia during this fiasco, but was told that you were sorry and could do very little other than contact the hotel. Ultimately it was up to the discretion of hotel management who had been tell us that any discount would have to come from Expedia. After this experience, I will certainly not go back to Ocean Manor and I didn’t see the value in using Expedia.

I have nothing but good things to say about the staff! They were friendly, helpful, caring and considerate. We checked in hours early as well! The couch in my room was dirty. It appeared to have stains all over it, making it unwelcoming to sit on.

The beds were very uncomfortable. All the furniture was falling apart. You could hear people in the rooms across and next to you. Our door didn’t work properly. It was very run down. The staff were decent and the rooms were clean.

Room was absolutely terrible. Bathroom was smaller than a closet. Outdated, refrigerator looked like it was bought at a yard sale. The resort needs a total make over. The only thing keeping it from 1 star is the beach and staff.

The Staff was nice. The rooms need remodeling. TV didnt work. Shower valve didnt work. I paid for ocean view and was given side view. The location is safe to walk and you can access beach. overall stay was ok.

The staff was courteous, the restaurant was excellent, but the room was substandard. The furniture was old and worn, there was no chair to sit in although there was a huge empty space near the windows that could accommodate a chair. Old bathroom vanity with dust and worn out.
Horrible lamp. Didn’t even stand up straight.
My husband brought a folding chair into that empty space.
The bathroom vanity doors are disgusting. Zoom in.
Look at that caulking.

We booked a Deluxe Room Ocean View but hey didn't have the room we booked because they said we booked through Expedia and rooms are not guaranteed through them and we should book through the hotel website instead. The staff I think tried to do what they could do but I wished I knew Expedia Our room looked nothing like they portray it to be.

We had a really nice time here, the staff was friendly and it was nice having a restaurant and the beach right there when you walk out. The rooms are a little outdated and there’s no water fountain in the resort, but overall it’s really nice.

Overall my experience at Ocean Manor was just ok. The pictures provided for the hotel and room do not do it justice. The hotel overall is very outdated as well as the rooms in my opinion. When I booked my stay I booked for a room with a kitchenette and my room didn’t even have a microwave in it. When I went down stairs to ask to get a different room and they said they are fully booked even tho I can see on Expedia they had rooms available. On entering my room I was very disappointed, the room was very out dated and had alot of issues. Multiple cracked tiles, stained bed sheets and curtains, rusty and dirty vents in the shower, broken cabinets in the bathroom, cracks and holes in the wall on the balcony. Over all there were a lot of things that needed attention in the room and in my opinion for what I paid for was way to much for the quality of the room and hotel. The hallways were dirty and the carpets very dirty, the walls are extremely thin you can hear all your neighbors and room service very early in the morning making it hard to rest. At least the front desk staff was nice and accommodating and the restaurant and out side are was nice but all in all out of 10 I’d rate my experience a 4.
