"We really enjoyed our stay overall and even chose to pay for an upgraded room beyond the complimentary upgrade that was initially offered. The resort is beautiful, and we've already started recommending it to others.
The staff was attentive overall, although the front desk staff in the Villas section did not seem as welcoming to guests who were not club members. The difference in friendliness was noticeable.
Dinner at Calusso was enjoyable, but we felt the food was overpriced for the quality, and the wait for our meal was longer than expected.
The breakfast restaurant was good, but for more than $40 per person, we'd expect a wider variety of food options.
The only other area for improvement was the demeanor of a couple of staff members at the main front desk. They seemed very guarded, made little eye contact, and didn't come across as particularly warm or welcoming.
Despite these minor issues, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this resort to others."
