Staff was great and very attentive to our needs, but the hotel infrastructure was very poor. The toilet was loose :-(
In the other hand, affordable price and good location. Good place to crash like last resort!

Good points: Price was reasonable. Staff were friendly and expectations were clear. Room appeared clean. Convenient location with restaurants, cafes and stores across the street.
Areas for improvement: Room was beat up. Signs of mold in bathroom (on shower taps). Strict about not letting you check in till 4pm and no where to drop bags. Check in process was paper-based; forms filled out by hand took a while. Note $50 deposit is cash only.

For the discount price this is very acceptable and that merits 5 stars in my book. Its clean and, at least in my room everything worked. There is lots of parking which is unusual in this urban location. Does it feel safe ? The location at street level in a trendy but slightly gritty section of a major Miami Beach street is kinda safe, but kinda not. The clientele appears to be mostly men. The policies are designed for a clientele who are assumed to not necessarily have credit cards.

First look seemed shady. But the room was clean, the area was safe, parking was decent. For an inexpensive stay around Miami, it will work.
With the exception of the paperwork. I've taken out a mortgage with less signatures.
