Nice place with not so nice beds

The condo was clean and laid out very well, location was great with the beach just across the street. Overall our stay was very good except the bedding was everything but nice as a result we got very little sleep. The master bedroom’s mattress was hard as a rock and the second queen had sheets too pilled to sleep on. I wanted to give a better review but a little bit of attention is needed and it would have been a great stay.

Beachfront view without the added price

Really loved this property and would go back. The until is very nice and provides a great ocean view. The hurricane destroyed the park directly in front of this condo so you have a completely unobstructed view of the ocean right now. The property itself is very nice as well. The pool is small but a very nice positive to the property. This property is the quiet end of the beach so if you like a beach with limited people on it, this is perfect for you. One other big positive about the location is you can walk to Publix for supplies it’s very close. You can also walk to Junkaroos right behind, nice bar/restaurant. One thing to keep in mind about the area in general. They are stil rebuilding from the hurricane so there is construction going on everywhere which can cause quite a bit of extra traffic. The hurricane also destroyed some of the restaurants so it can be challenging at time to find a place to eat if you go during a busy time. All in all I would definitely recommend this property and if I go back to Ft Meyers would definitely stay here again.

Wasted potential

We have stayed in the building complex in another condo and had a much better experience. Because of the other stay we were really exited to stay here and at every turn was disappointed. With just a few changes this place could be soo much better. Here are some of the problems with this unit: No blinds on the main entry doors Coach in living is broke. Therefore the middle section sages and is uncomfortable. WiFi - Did not work. After numerous calls to property manager, eventually gave up. Hard Beds - These have to be the hardest beds that you could find, why? Cheap Pots & Pans - Tried to cook with the pans and everything burns. Cheap Silverware - Why not just have plastic with what is furnished? No Beach Towels - Really? Your on the beach, why wouldn’t you provide these? No Beach Chairs - Really? There is a locker for these but the one for this unit is empty? Ants - There are numerous ants coming out in the bathroom and bedroom. Called the property manager and reported. As you can see a lot of these are not structural issues but some realitively simple fixes. Without these fixes, I would tell people to book something else.

Great location, nice condo, but please replace the master bed! It was so hard that it was difficult to get a good nights sleep. Sleep quality impacts vacation quality!

Great location

Right across the street from a quieter public beach. Super close to a Puboix and a trolee stop. Quiet building with nice neighbors. Would definitely recommend!

Great vacation!!

This condo was so spacious. We loved how the beach was directly across the street. Publix is next door which makes food and supply runs super easy. We ended up renting a car just to experience Sanibel daily. There’s a great trolley that takes you down to all the restaurants and picks you up right near the condo. A couple issues we had may be due to Covid restrictions but will definitely stay here again. (I hate posting the “bad” because we really enjoyed our stay. But for informational purposes: There are no supplies left from previous guests. You have to buy salt and pepper, coffee filters, garbage bags, paper towels, etc which we normally find in condos. Very limited toilet paper, shampoo, soap etc. so we had to buy more.) The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars: The beds were very uncomfortable. Definitely stop at Walmart on your way and grab a foam-mattress topper to help you sleep at night. Maybe Vacasa can offer an upgrade for an additional fee. We ended up on the couch and air mattresses.

Wonderful vacation condo!

We loved the location...close to the beach and a grocery store. We loved the layout of the condo. Well designed, clean, well stocked kitchen. Even had good filtered water in the fridge door (I’m a water snob). We loved the beach toys, umbrellas, chairs. Used the pool every day too. Others commented it was too shaded but we loved that after a long day on the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Property was nice. Elevator was broken the entire time. Nightmare! To make it worse they were working on it at 7:00AM banging away and blocking the garage with their trucks. If my mother did not back out of coming with us we could not have stayed. No one gave us a heads up even though other renters said it had been broken for several days.
