CONSTRICTION UPDATE..Sun Destin Beach Resort is currently undergoing exterior/interior construction around the property. The main lobby is currently being renovated, so all guests will enter through the east side of the building. As of February 17, 2026 the main pool and the hot tub are open, however the heated pool is still closed. We’ll post updates on openings of the amenities and renovation timelines as we receive them. We apologize for the inconvenience.
SunDestin will once again be a premier destination for family getaways—and even more, a prestigious location for magnificent summers and lasting memories.

Our host was friendly and quick to respond. Beautiful view from the balcony and it was right on the beach. We ate outside frequently on balcony on the great high top table. The space was perfect for our escape from NE Ohio snow. It was a cosy and welcoming condo. The king sized bed was comfortable. We did not use the Murphy bed or bunks. The beach chairs were great. The washer and dryer made it possible for us to pack light. We knew there were renovations happening when we were going to be there, as disclosed in the description, but it didn’t interfere with our stay. The employees were kind and helpful as were the people doing the work. Close to a Walmart and Target so we could buy groceries. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean and cozy. The balcony view was awesome. There was construction going on at the condo. The view of the ocean made up for it. The condo will be totally awesome when the exterior construction is completed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We look forwarding to renting the condo in the future.

Major construction underway. Noise all day. Balcony view was great but hard to get there for all the stuff stored there. Balcony slider glass door lock inoperative. Balcony window curtains are segmented in three pieces and don’t cover the opening. Crown molding had fallen off. Paper thin bedding. Walking on rough concrete from the elevator to the room. Debris in the elevator from construction. Glad I wasn’t paying seasonal rate…

We weren’t told about balcony view being closed . Both pools were closed! The furniture needs updated or cleaned. We stayed just two night and rented a place at Pelican Beach Resort. Really nice and priced the same. Sun Destin needs to shut completely down and remodel.

I cannot say enough about this trip ! The restaurants were amazing so many choices. The condo was awesome and can't say enough about the view! But most importantly the host was so friendly and accommodating. The communication was top notch! Can't wait too come back next year !

The property was nice and the condo was great. My only complaint was the construction, Way loud and certainly could not take a nap. No hot tub, no out door pool, no splash pad, inside pool was nice the little bar had good burgers. Wish someone had told us about construction...but you gotta make money!!!!! Thank you

POOR COMMUNICATION

STAYED AT SUNDESTIN BEFORE THIS ROOM WAS LIKE MOST OTHERS CLEAN BUT OUTDATED A BIT OWNER WAS VERY HELPFUL IN GETTING US IN EARLY BUT WE WERE NEVER INFORMED OF POOL CLOSING DURING MID STAY AND HOT TUB WE WOULD HAVE HAVE BOOKED HAD WE KNOWN ASKED FOR A REFUND FOR OUR TROUBLE AND LET DOWN BUT STILL HAVE NOT REC'D TRIED CONTACTING OWNER TO NO AVAIL. NOT NECESARRILY HIS FAULT BUT WE PAID TOO MUCH TO NOT BE ABLE TO USE POOL FOR FULL STAY AND HOT TUB WE ENDED UP LEAVING A DAY EARLY BC WE WERE REALLY UPSET NO COMMUNICATION W OWNER UNTIL I REACHED OUT TO VRBO ONLINE HE STATED HE WOULD SEND A MONEY ORDER TO ME FOR OUR TROUBLE BUT ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS NO REFUND OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS NICE WE BOUGHT ROACH SPRAY BC THEY HAD A FEW NOT OWNERS FAULT BUT WE JUST USED PRECAUTION TO NOT CARRY THEM BACK BEDROOM HAS SOME TYPE OF UNUSUAL MOLD SMELL I COULDNT PUT MY FINDER ON IT BUT IT DIDNT RUIN STAY BUT MAYBE THAT CAN BE CHECKED ON IF NOONE REPORTED THEN CANT BE FIXED THE LOCK ON BALCONY DOOR WAS BROKEN WE MANAGED TO FINANGLE WITH IT TO LOCK IT AT NIGHT CONDO BLDG ITSELF IS ON BEACH NEAR EVERYTHING BUT JUST SUCH A LET DOWN WITH POOL BC WE DO USE POOL DAILY AND HOT TUB AND SO AGAIN HAD WE KNOWN WE WOULD HAVE BOOKED AT A DIFFERENT PLACE I DONT THINK THAT WAS RIGHT THAT WE WERE NOT TOLD ABOUT IT AND NOTHING DONE TO MAKE IT RIGHT

Quick Vacation Getaway

What you see in the pictures is what you see when you get there. Clean, very nice, and a beautiful view of the white sand and ocean. Both the room and SunDestin Resort were wonderful.
