Girls from work trip

Great vacation!

My family really enjoyed our stay in this condo. The condo was beautiful and very comfortable. Mellisa was great to work with and made us feel right at home. We would defiantly stay here again.

Beautiful area

Loved the area. So beautiful. Pure white beach sand. The balcony facing the Gulf was stunning The only thing is it needs new sofa Very uncomfortable and area rug Beds were comfy. Kitchen well supplied

Perfect Getaway!

The condo met all of our needs and was the perfect proximity to the pool and beach (which was great with our small children in tow!) Everything was very clean. We went during a busy holiday week, yet none of the amenities were overcrowded. We had a great time!

Beautiful!!

Beautiful and clean condo with picture perfect view and great location to shopping, dining, and fun activities. The owners made sure everything was perfect and were great about checking to see that our trip was enjoyable and we had everything we needed. Hated to leave but looking forward to staying here again!!!!

Awesome view

Beautiful view and right on the beach. Saw dolphins from our room and poop was close to the room. Make sure you have transportation of planning on going into Destin.

Great for families

The property has a great view of the ocean (better to be on the 2nd floor) and is convenient to get to the beach and the pool. Our kids and adults loved it. You are also only a short drive to everything you need and want in Fort Walton Beach and Destin. Make sure you get up early enough (7-9a) to see the dolphins swimming right in front of the property. We took small canoes out to see them at the man made reefs and it was a magical experience!

wonderful environment

We had a few initial hiccups in the beginning that were resolved. The new lock on the door was malfunctioning and the unit we initially rented was under construction. These were quickly resolved and we had a wonderful stay.

Quick visit!

We booked this unit for a quick 3-night stay. This property has a great location. 2nd story, so we did not have the noise/traffic of a 1st floor unit. That also means we had a better ocean view. Everything to make it feel like home away from home is available, plus some things you didn't know you needed. Great communication with the property manager. She made it super easy to get in to the unit, provided recommendations for places to eat (Definitely go to Stewby's and Brotula's). We would happily stay in this unit again in the future!

Perfect Summer Vacation

The owners were easily reached when we encountered a small hiccup. It’s was quickly resolved. We did not have a single issue with our condo. We arrive to yummy donuts. The balcony view was absolutely stunning. We spent a lot of time on the balcony when we were not in the beach. The size of the pool was great! Everyone could spread out & there’s were always chairs available. Most condos have small pools & limited seating which leads to crowding. We will be back next year!!

Relaxing Family Vacation

This was our first trip to the Fort Walton/Destin area and we loved every minute of it. The Condo was beautifully decorated, well maintained, and very spacious. Our daughters (13 & 10) loved the beach and the pools. It was great having the heated pool during the 3rd week of October since it was a little chilly at night and in the mornings. The view is perfect from the balcony. We did have most of our meals in the condo and the kitchen was well equipped. We even cooked out on the grill one night. The Grocery store is not far down the street. Also it is a very short drive to Destin to Harbor walk and many restaurants. It was a perfect getaway for Fall Break.

October vacation

We had a great vacation! Beautiful room & view!! Everything we could need or use was included in condo. Plenty of room for us & three kids. We all had a great time & enjoyed the condo. Very nice & clean & well stocked! Melissa is great to work with & answered all my questions in a timely manner Loved the area also beach guy not real accommodating We had to be out on beach by 11 with chairs in use in order to get chairs for the day. Sometimes the chairs were in the second row also. So we just moved the chairs down closer to the water

Great views and great vacation

Everyone who has booked a family vacation online knows the feeling of holding your breath when you arrive as you hope it lives up to how it was advertised. This arrival was extra nerve wracking because from the street, Waters Edge lacks any sort of charm or curb appeal. After lugging our baggage to the front door, we anxiously turned the handle...and were immediately taken with the view. You see, no matter how lackluster this condo appears from the street side, we only booked it for its magnificent ocean view. And boy did it deliver. This condo is perfectly situated in the building to provide a fantastic view and yet privacy from the crowds at the pool or beach. If it was even one door down, you would find yourself sharing your evening cocktail or morning coffee with several other people. Instead, you are have perfectly placed palm trees framing up a picturesque view of the beach. There are other benefits, sure--the condo was immaculately cleaned (at least until my kids and their sandy feet arrived), the kitchen well appointed, the decor relatively up to date and not cheesy beach chic like so many beach rentals, the owner is quick and responsive to any issues, it's conveniently located near many restaurants and entertainment but without the traffic of being on the main drag. But, mostly, you can rest assured that this condo delivers as promised. There are no misleading pictures here--in fact, they don't really even do the unit true justice. You'll just have to see it yourself. There were some oddities and minor complaints, to be sure. The mattresses are not nearly as comfortable as ours back home. The master bedroom blinds don't completely block the morning light. The elevator is impossibly slow. But, again, minor concerns that didn't really impact our stay. My family of four greatly enjoyed our trip. If we are back in the area for vacation, we will be booking this again.

February stay

Overall it was very clean and property grounds and pool area very well kept. There were a few small issues- curtains off track and difficult to open, ice maker non-functioning non functioning light above DR table and broken recliner in living room. Property management responded quickly to concerns and mentioned they already knew about the issues and were waiting on owner to approve fixing. The location was perfect and we had a lovely time. Would encourage correcting issues in a more timely fashion

Peaceful stay

The condo was very nice and just as listed! It has a beautiful view of the ocean and just a few steps away til your on the sand. The condo was clean, tidy and every amenity listed was there. We loved everything about it and the location was perfect.
