Great for large family get togethers

The property is setup extremely well to host large family gatherings. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and the layout provides for a good amount of privacy. Please note, the owner provides basically nothing in terms of paper products (toilet paper, paper towels) or consumables so you need to make sure to bring everything with you (or be prepared to buy things locally, at very high prices!).

Crushed it on the beach

Ground floor access to the pool and beach steps away. Condo was well appointed with large common areas, superb kitchen, spacious bedrooms and lots of storage, bathrooms were great. I would come back here for every beach VACA.

Beautiful escape

We all enjoyed this condo! The rooms were neat and tidy with everything we needed! What a beautiful escape. The pool was heated to perfection. The ocean was beautiful! Parking was easy. Our door code didn’t work on arrival and someone answered the phone on the hotline quick and gave us a new code and it worked with in a short moment. Will definitely come back again!

Great space

The facility is excellent and the beachfront is just steps away after crossing the pool deck. The weather did not cooperate on our trip, and I am glad my extended family opted for this larger space, so that there was plenty of space to gather and spend time together in doors, rather than saving that togetherness on the beach. In a smaller space or divided over several other condos we would not have had a single area where we could all gather together comfortably. Note: unit does not have cookies sheets or a hot hand to pull things out of the oven. There was a lot of cooking to make up for the lack of sun during our trip, and I am glad I knew about these missing items so I could course correct.

Home away from home!

This was our 4th time at this condo. The floor plan works perfectly for my family and the first floor convenience to the beach is awesome! We absolutely love it here!

Disappointing

We were quite disappointed overall. This condo claims to be luxurious, but it didn’t even come close. Issues: No covered parking space as promised, and the door code didn’t work upon check in. Local and National Vacasa teams were not helpful and did not respond to us regarding issues. The condo was dirty - floors were covered with sand, windows and sliding glass doors filthy, and the patio and the patio furniture were disgustingly filthy. The mattresses in the master bedroom and the back bedroom were like rocks and I slept on the bunk bed just to get some rest. The master bed frame and slat were broken and it made a horrible squeaky noise. Light bulbs (2 of 3) were burned out in the master bath, and the toilet paper holder was broken in the hall bathroom. The sheets and towels were of sand paper quality, and the refrigerator water filter was red and had not been changed / probably ever. As as others have noted, there was no dead bolt on the doors, so lacking as far as security goes. Good points: a/c worked great, and the condo was spacious. The location and the pool were also great. After this experience, I would never stay at another Vacasa property.

Memory Maker

We had 6 adults, one teen, 16 month twins and one 5 month old. We had plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Adult rooms all have king beds, teen had his own private retreat with twin bunk beds, and there was one room for pack-n-plays. Very large well appointed kitchen and plenty of spaces and comfortable chairs/sofa for everyone. The patio is spacious and the view of the pools and beach are amazing. Steps from the patio to the pools and a short walk to the beach. So easy with our little ones. Plenty of parking. This location was wonderful without all of the traffic of Destin.

AMAZING LAYOUT and VIEWS

We absolutely fell in love with this first floor condo. Decor simply welcomes you to the sandy beaches of Ft Walton. Plenty of room for everyone! Easy access to the pool, directly out of your back door. Worked great having young children, as well as elderly. Definitely will rebook again for another family vacation!

Was not disappointed!

The pictures provided in the description was exactly what the unit looked like. Loved having the extra seating area off of the living room with bar area. It was beautifully decorated & only steps from the breaking waves of the ocean. Being on the first floor is the only way to go with a family -- we could sit comfortably on our patio & watch the kids in the pool. Would definitely stay here again. There were 11 people in our group & had room for more!

Everything was excellent. Beds were firm but comfortable. Plenty of space for all. Exactly as described in listing. We had a wonderful time and felt very at home. Great unit with easy access to pool and beach. We absolutely will stay here again!

Would definitely stay again

BLU 103 was perfect for our family of 11. There is plenty of space to move around and never in the way of anyone else. With small children and lots of beach toys, wagons, chairs and umbrellas the access right out the back patio to the pool and beach was perfect . I loved that the patio had plenty of space to accommodate our family and all of our beach stuff. The condo is supplied with plenty of kitchen ware that could be needed. My least favorite is right in sight of pool but the easy access with small children totally out weighed that and it never was an issue. If I could suggest one thing would be to have a lock or chain on the inside of the door so that little ones can't just open door and walk out. We had a great vacation and would definitely stay here again!!!

Nice Place

We loved the location and roominess of the condo. We liked it enough to want to book for the next year but prices reflected a 25% increase and that was too much. There were a few maintenance items that needed t be addressed that I hope get taken care of. Earlier posts mentioned the master bedroom mattress being to firm. We didn't think so and liked it. Would come back if wasn't so expensive.

Summer Vacation Stay

Positives: First floor condo - pool and beach access was amazing. The two pools were some of the best on Okaloosa we’ve seen and guarantees access when one is being serviced.Gated access requiring security code is nice. Kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/utensils. Workout room is very nice with plenty of different pieces of equipment. Complex is VERY clean and well maintained. Opportunities: Condo had a vacuum but no broom which picks up sand better. Could have used more bedding sheets for pull out couches etc. We are a very laid back group but felt permanent owner/residents need to be a little more accepting and not so uptight and stringent on rules (received a warning for hanging beach towels on our patio gate). We would definitely stay at this condo again.
