The coffee pot leaked, the mattress was worn out and the sheets didn't fit, the bed frame was homemade and had a sharp edge that cut my leg. The sliding glass door was difficult to open

Terrible!

Unable to get into property as electronic lock must've had a dead or dying battery. Took hours to initially get in as owner have is the wrong code and getting ahold of someone to help took quite a bit of time. Then trying to get in after food shopping was a nightmare. Only stayed one night of our booked stay as the mattress on the homemade crappy bed was impossible to sleep in. No blankets on the bed just 3 sheets. Red, sticky stuff on light switches and in bathroom. Had to sweep the floor upon arrival. Definitely not worth the $ to stay there! This was an expensive nightmare as we had to pay to stay elsewhere.

Great location

I love staying at Pirate Bay A because it's right on the bay. Walk out of the room and straight to the dock to do a little fishing.

Most disappointed ever in a VRBO rental

The furniture is horrid, bed is broken down, chairs are wobbly, cage coffee table wobbly, kitchen cabinet missing, bathroom vanity drawer missing. Bathtub fixtures broken and sliding door is not functional. Really disappointed that this is a VRBO listing.

Room was very plain and not supplied well and the kitchen was pretty much non existent.

This was my 4th stay here but I will try not to get unit again. Amenities for the property are good, but unit A106 was very disappointing.

10-15 mins from the main beach in Destin, 5 mins from the Fort Walton beach, right off the Main rd. Clean place, nice pool. Can’t beat for price

My birthday weekend

I enjoyed ny visit to Pirates Bay. The property was very clean. Perfect for a couple's getaway. The only down side was yhe shared pool area. It was infested with lizards. Im terrified of lizards therefore I couldn't enjoy the pool. The public beaches nearby were wonderful and my overall visit was great. I will return#

Will stay again

Check in emails etc are self explanatory (no confusion). Absolutely no direct communication not even a phone call . Everything through email and texts. Location is close to Destin and not fthat far from Pensacola. Pool is right outside your back patio and even though we didn't use it looks nice. The neighbors were friendly and Olive Garden is literally next door. We have no problem staying here again in the future. It was pretty quiet as well. The back door could use some work it's a little difficult to open and close.
