Rio Perdido was absolutely incredible and easily one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip. From the moment we arrived, the service felt personal and thoughtful. A golf cart picked us up at the entrance, our luggage was taken directly to our room, and everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed. We stayed in a Center Bungalow and loved it. The outdoor shower was one of our favorite experiences of the entire trip, the room had beautiful jungle views, and even the shampoos and hand washes smelled amazing. The property itself is stunning and feels completely immersed in nature. There are hanging bridges, walking trails, hot and cold pools, a spa, yoga classes, and a beautiful thermal river that we were lucky enough to enjoy almost completely to ourselves. We also saw monkeys and armadillos around the property, which made the experience even more special. The food was delicious, the drinks were always well made, and the staff truly made the stay unforgettable. We were honestly sad to leave. Rio Perdido is peaceful, unique, beautiful, and exceptionally well run. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Spectacular property and a beautiful room and restaurant. Very accommodating and friendly helpful staff. The tubing experience was our favourite excursion of our trip. We did find the garden tour lacking due to the timing of what was active in the garden. Overall a spectacular stay with the thermal river and all wildlife being the highlight.

I cannot say enough good things about this property. From check in to check out. The staff was amazing everywhere. The food was amazing. The amenities are off the charts. The room was fantastic. Peaceful. Gorgeous views. If I could stay here forever I would. West bungalow was AMAZING. Yoga class was wonderful. Massage was relaxing. Canyon adventures zip lining and the Whitewater tubing were so much fun. And so worth it. Guides were GREAT. The property is absolutely gorgeous. Every day I discovered something new and I didn’t probably even see a fraction of what they have to offer. I will definitely be back. They made a big birthday trip a dream. And the concierge was also wonderful. This was my first trip to Costa Rica and they made it so amazing. PURA VIDA!
