Nicely refurbed hotel, but pricey.lack of parking made it less convenient. Overall the hotel is good but expensive.

Stay at this hotel. Firstly, a credit to the staff, all of whom were fantastically polite and personable, providing simply great service. The vintage lift was a unique joy with the communal areas continuing the slightly nostalgic theme. The bar and dining vibe was relaxed, quiet and combined with great food and attentive staff made for a relaxed breakfast, evening drinks and dinner. Incidentally, dining provides for great views over the harbour. Our room had the most complete sea vista, was incredibly clean with a very comfy bed and was very well stocked with tea and Nespresso coffee. In contrast to other large hotels locally the Harbour provided for a quiet, relaxing stay and a memorable visit to Fowey. Thank you to all at the hotel.

Lovely stay at this hotel. Staff are super friendly. Room was lovely. Didn’t eat at the hotel only breakfast. Shame you now have to pay for a hot breakfast so we stuck with continental which was limited but adequate. We aren’t big breakfast eaters. Complimentary gin is a lovely touch and made the most of that. This was our second stay and will be back. We love fowey

Lovely views and friendly people. Would expect a bit more from a 4-star - like air conditioning / pool / spa. I also wasn’t expecting so many dogs to be staying there - which put me off a little, but didn’t cause any real issues.

The Fowey Harbour Hotel is a lovely place to stay. This was my third time there. The hotel is relaxing and the rooms are nice decorated with a modern but cost feel. All the staff were accommodating and super friendly throughout the stay. They were all happy to help with queries and little things like booking taxis. One observation is that when weddings are on the atmosphere of the hotel changes as the weddings can be loud and people over spill into the quiet lounger area. Other than that we had a lovely time and will return again soon.

The hotel itself was lovely we had a gorgeous room and view of the harbour and a very enjoyable meal in the restaurant but we would not go back unless we could park at the property as we had to park in the town car park up two steep hills which was no fun to take our luggage to at the end. We have a large car and the roads were so narrow we didn’t want to risk driving down to the hotel again.

The staff at the Harbour Hotel could not do enough for us! So happy and helpful. Extra special thank you to Receptionist Carley for going above and beyond. The rooms are exceptional as are the grounds and Fowey is a beautiful town with amazing bars and restaurants. We can't wait to come back.

Harbour Hotel Fowey

Excellent all round, hence my 5 star rating in every category. A lovely hotel, well located, the food was absolutely excellent. I recommend the continental breakfast, there was a lot of choice and again, quality produce. Only one small niggle, the lounge seating is badly laid out,4 people on computers took up all the seating. this could easily rectified.

Lovely stay

Great location. Lovely position. Room was very nice. Reception very welcoming. Restaurant staff attentive and friendly. Car parking easy. We had a dog friendly room. Plenty of space for the dog too.

Amazing views at this Harbour Hotel

This was a last minute choice and overall it was a good choice. The location is fabulous although there is limited parking due to its incredible location. The bedroom was very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated in keeping with the hotels overall theme and estuary location. My wife and I had breakfast, lunch and dinner during our two day stay. The choice was good and the meals including breakfast were to a very good standard. My only gripe would be the attentiveness of the staff. All the staff were pleasant and knew their job. It just felt the system they have employed is slow, e.g ordering drinks at lunch. The drinks took too long to arrive and eventually came with our meal. This was disappointing. This is our only gripe. Other than that, we loved it.
